What would you do?

9/30-10/4. SSR is home but I'd like BLT or Boardwalk, which of course have no availability.

Would you attempt to secure a reservation through David's or put in a Waitlist request?

David's accesses the exact same availability everyone else does. While everyone calls what happens through an agency renting points, you really rent a reservation made by a member for you with their points, with the agency as intermediary.

You should waitlist. You can watch the David's list of dedicated reservations, which are basically rental cancellations, but when you have specific dates they may not work out anyway.

If SSR is home and has availability for your dates I would book SSR to secure a reservation. And as already pointed out if the other resorts are already booked David's isn't going to be of any help.

Do you have to waitlist all days or just some? Waitlisting the whole time will likely not fill, so make sure you have a back up reservation.

BLT has availability on Friday but I need to waitlist Sat-Mon.
