I watched his show last night and I kept going "OMG..WHY would you torture yourself like this?". Even his doctors were telling him there could be seizures, strokes, irreversible organ damage. Even the greatest stuntsmen of our generation, Evel Knievel, was telling him NOT to do it. He passed out from holding his breath too long on Knievel's couch. So why did he do this to himself? I kept thinking.."He's going to kill himself on live television. He's going to DIE in front of millions of people on LIVE TV!!!"

He's a strange agent. Why did ABC need 2 hours for that last night??? Magic is fine, crazy stunts that you have a very high possibility of dying? Not cool.

I heard that too. I also heard that he hasn't eaten solid food in 2 weeks. Also this whole water stunt is causing irreversible damage to his organs.
card tricks were fun to watch (especially the people's reaction to his tricks) but irreversible damage to his organs for a stunt is disturbing...

Did you see the 'trick' where he supposedly pulled a tooth right out of a young woman's mouth? WTHeck? If he tried to pull my teeth out of MY mouth, I would've run screaming.

He only held his breath for 7 minutes, big whoop! WHY was this show on for 2 solid hours? Now they say he has liver and kidney damage, well, stupid is as stupid does!

David Blaine is hot! I think he's intriguing and I love the stunts and magic tricks he does.

Ummmm....he's not for real folks. The tricks he does are MAGIC, which means they are an illusion. Same thing for these stunts...they are NOT real.

He was NOT in the water for two weeks or whatever he claims. Yes, doctors will tell you that it would be BAD to be in water for that long...DUH. But Blaine's body was NOT in that bubble for that amount of time.

I didn't watch the special as I don't care what happens to him. I did find it very telling, however, that the water bubble was suddenly crystal-clear last night when I flipped past that channel while all those GMA interviews in front of the bubble last week were very very cloudy (all you could see was a form in the bubble). That alone tells me this guy was NOT in the water up until last night.
