anyone familiar with this method of debt reduction? DH and I are listening to the audiobook now and planning on starting it ASAP. Anyone do this or know anyone who has? Thoughts?

We are almost done with Financial Peace University (a 13 week course) that we take at a local church. It is awesome! I've read lots of personal finance books, but I'm hooked on DR. It's a great system. The most important thing is that you two are doing it together. You can find more on FPU on the Dave Ramsey website. Good luck!

DH and I started TMM in September and have since paid off one credit card and one of our cars (totaling around 4,000 of debt paid off in 3 months!!). His system WORKS if you follow it! DH and I are huge fans now! We'll be debt free (except the house) in the spring of 2012 (that's $42,000 of debt, GONE! Student loans, everything!!)
