I moved to Texas from Ohio and had a rather strong northern accent. I can not count how many times people said "ya'all aint from around here, are ya?" I went from Yankee to Darn Yankee when they found out I was here to stay!


BTW, if you want to do the FE exchange Aggielawyer is putting together a Texas group!

I've lived here about 16 years. (Wow! I can't believe it has been that long.) DH (Bill) jokes that I sometimes have a stronger southern accent than him. He was born and raised in Texas!
