Dating

I love intelligent guys. Garrett's the first guy that actually cares about his education. He's a straight A student. He like never studies or anything, but he just knows so much.

It makes me mad though, because I have to study study study so much to make a passing grade. And it like comes natural to him. lol.

He's the only guy I have ever actually talked too. If that makes sense.

Like, he's your best guy (well and boyfriend) friend? And the one you would have serious conversations with?

I wish I had good guy friends. The ones I have are absolutely infuriating (except for my German friend, I love him) and I'd love to castrate them all.
I'm one of those people who I see tons of people I'd love to be friends with, and I eavesdrop on their convo's... but I'd never actually start talking to them.
I wish I were friends with the guys I work with though, they're kind of not infuriatingly immature and I like talking to them. But oh welllls.

my guy friends make me mad too. they're all really immature.

Yeah. He's exactly like my best friend. We was really close the summer before we started dating. We talked all the time. We would talk for hours at night.

So once we started dating, it was easy for us to keep an intelligent conversation. So it wasn't all the creepy "I love you!" "I love you more" crap. lol.

I have never dated, but if I ever did go on a date, I probably would just tell my parents I'm going out with some friends. Not dating hasn't been a big deal to me, most of my friends don't date either.

I don't think they really care that I don't date. They probably just find it something else they don't have to worry about. The day I tell them someone asked me out I'll never hear the end of the teasing and insisting the person is my boyfriend.

I've never been on a "date" date I guess. More like a hang out session I suppose?

My parents assume I'm dating because they always ask me what we did and who paid and such.

i had my first boyfriend when i was 12 honestly hahaha
had my first kiss when i was 12 also, obviously it wasn't like a 'real' relationship, but we did see each other outside of school like he'd come hang out at my house or we'd go to the park and stuff ^_^ hehe

my parents have always known who i have dated and all that, i tell my mom everything. my parents didn't really care that i had a 'boyfriend' at 12 because they know i was a good girl and wasn't doing anything stupid
i've pretty much had boyfriends ever since then.
been dating my current BF since just after i turned 17 and i'm 20 now.

i started dating prolly 12 or 13. i've had a couple of girlfriends but they werent really legit. ive never really loved another person. and im not really into the whole commitment thing so id rather just date around and hang out. i like to keep my options open

my parents had no problem with it. i always told them when i had a date/boyfriend. i cannot fathom not telling them something like that. i started dating around 14.

Around 14 or so. My parents knew. They were ok with it.

It hasn't truly gotten serious till this past year or so.

I'm 16, and I have never been interested in guys, nor dating.

And I'm not gay, yet people seem to think I am. Which offends me a little cause they have no right to assume I am attracted to someone I'm not.

I have never dated. It's partially because my parents won't let me date until I'm 16, and partly because I just don't really want a boyfriend. I have lots on my plate, and don't need a guy complicating my life right now.

I've had "boyfriends" since I was in 5th grade or so... But you know how those are. Never see each other outside of school, are embarrassed even to hug, yadda yadda.

I didn't ever actually go on a "date" until I was 14, though. I had my first kiss on one of those "dates". I've only ever had 3 boyfriends I've ever gone on dates with.

And yes, my parents have known and have met all 3 of those boys. My mom knew about my early "boyfriends" but also knew that it was more like a silly elementary school game than anything, so she just thought it was cute.

im 19. i've never had a boyfriend, never been kissed. i have come close to having a boyfriend, but things just didn't work out. my parents are fine with me dating. but its something that i take pretty seriously. i dont want to be in a short-term relationship. also, im planning on spending 2011 in america and dont want to leave someone behind for a year. i plan on being single until im at least 21. and even then, im only going to date someone who i can picture myself married to.

I started dating at 14 (freshmen in high school). My parents have known about every boy that has come into my life, even if we just went on one date and I decided I wasn't as into them as I thought. They are pretty cool around my boyfriend now too. They get along great. (although he is a red sox fan and they don't really approve of that. I don't either though :lmao: :thumbsup2 )

I have had a BFs but i never went on any actual "Dates" and i probably won't go out with any one again until im like 18 (witch is only a little over a year) Just because i don't want my parents bugging me (bugging me in a joking way like nice teezing.)

Haha (: Same here

i had my first "boyfriend" i guess when i was 12. but i don't really count it, i mean i was head over heels for him but we didn't really do anything and it didn't feel real. then i had another boyfriend when i was 14 but that didn't last long, he really hurt me.

umm then at the end of freshmen year i went out with the same guy who i "dated" first, but this time it was way better lol we went out for over a year. and now i have another boyfriend who i've been with for 6 months

my parents don't know about the first guy, but again i don't even really count it and neither does he. they know about the rest.
