Dates for Wine & Food in '06?

Does anyone have these dates handy? I thought I did - but can't put my finger on them now...

I have not seen them posted, but figure all of October and the first few weeks of November.

The October period has been the festival date for several years. Due to legislative changes they could expand it starting last year to the 6 week period and that appears to have been successful (Before I think you could only get temporary permits for the stands to serve the wine portion for 30 days!)

As far as I know, the dates for the 2006 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival have not yet been published.

Here's the schedule for the Food & Wine Festival for last year and this year:

• 2004: Friday, October 1, through Sunday, November 14, 2004
• 2005: Friday, September 30, through Sunday, November 13, 2005

Now, here's the schedule for Thanksgiving for last year, this year, and next year:

• Thanksgiving 2004: Thursday, November 25
• Thanksgiving 2005: Thursday, November 24
• Thanksgiving 2006: Thursday, November 23

You'll notice that this schedule gives the the folks at Epcot 10 days to take down the F&W Festival and set up for the holidays before Thanksgiving. Also, the F&W Festival starts on a Friday and runs through a Sunday for a total of 45 days. If this pattern continues in 2006, the dates would be:

• 2006: Friday, September 29 through Sunday, November 12, 2006

Looks like we'll get to hit the F&W Festival next year - yea!
