Dates for Mardi Gras

We wanted to do Mardi Gras at Universal but I am unsure of the dates. Anybody know when? Universal's website says dates to be announced soon.

The dates for the past few years have been early February to mid-April.

The concerts are usually on some Fridays and every Saturday. I believe the parade is only held on Saturdays.

This year, it began February 6th and ended April 17th.

I spoke with a universal rep today about our booked trip for march 11th to 14th 2011. She told me Mardi gras will be on while we are there.

We will be there on Thur, Mar 17 and Fri, Mar 18, 2011. I know from the website, it says the parades are usually on Saturday and "select" nites. Does anyone know if Mar. 17th (St. Patrick's Day) is one of those "select" nites for a Mardi Gras parade, even though it will officially be 1 wk past Fat Tuesday?
