Dateline - Save Liam!

Did anyone watch Dateline about the little boy Italy is holding hostage. This is absolutely awful!!! The website is saveliam.org, I just made a donation via paypal. Very Sad!!!!!!!!!!

Why is the boy held hostage?

Mother is Italian and kidnapped the boy to Italy 5 years ago when the boy was 5. Father was granted custody in US and mother has been deemed mentally ill by both the US and Italian courts and unfit. Instead of sending the boy to the US to live with the father he is in the temporary custody of the paternal uncle and has been for several years. Makes no sense and time keeps ticking away. The father has spent literally hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to get him back. I have totally lost respect for the Italian government.

I have been following this story for over a year now. It is heartbreaking and I pray they are together again soon.

That is awful. I feel so sorry for the boy and the dad.

I was practically sobbing at the end of the show. : (
There was a shot of when he was little running in circles with a happy joyful look on his face and laughing , prob before all this happened as he looked to be about 3 or 4. Italy and that "mother" took all that joy away from that gorgeous boy.

I didn't see this show, but I've seen this story before. I hope the little boy comes home soon. It's so sad.
