Please help!

Granny is flying in for a few days while we are on vacation so that means DH and I will get to have a date night :cool1:

I need ideas/suggestions/anything! All I ask is that it be less than $100.

Any and All help is much appreciated! Thanks and God Bless

I would suggest dinner and a movie in Celebration. Very cool and without the tourist throngs at Downtown Disney.

Have an evening out and go to " The Gaylord Palms " Convention Center

Dine at "The Villa De Flora " Restaurant

( The Convention Center looks like an upside funnel )

It is on Osceola Parkway Near the Disney Arch .

My wife and I are in our mid-30's and absolutely love the Winter Park area. Tons of great (non-chain) restaurants, cool "small town" vibe, and unique shopping. One of our favorite ways to kill an evening outside of the parks!

If you want to do something on Disney property, I'd suggest either dinner and walking around the Boardwalk (we are sports buffs, so we love going to ESPN), or going to Jellyrolls, which is so fun. They do charge a cover charge there, so I'm not sure if dinner + Jellyrolls + a drink at Jellyrolls might bust the budget. We love going over to the Boardwalk at night, even if you just get a drink or an ice cream and walk around it's really fun.

You can tell we aren't really the romantic date types, both DH and I are thrilled to be able to go watch sports, eat some nachos and then go sing along at Jellyrolls, but we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves at a fancy dinner! :)

I second Jellyrolls. My husband and I went there while on a trip a few years back before the kiddo came along. My FIL will be joining us this trip and if we can sneak away for a date night, we may go again. It was a good time. :thumbsup2

I second dinner in Celebration, but, the movie theater in town closed a few years ago.

I'll third dinner in Celebration. DH and I had dinner at the Columbia Restaurant for our date night. However, IIRC, the bill was close to $100. That did include drinks though.

Another vote for the Boardwalk area. To keep costs down eat dinner before you go out and then just have drinks and share an appetizer or dessert at one of the restaurants then head to Jellyrolls! So much fun!!! :)
