Yep! Owen was due 8/31 but born 8/26... so a little younger than Brynn, I think?
Yeah. Brynn was due September 7th but she was born August 13th. She was eager to come out

Hi there. Which thread did you put them in?
So Darren is talking about postponing the trip until January!!
We're gonna talk about it but please pray it's good news! I mean, January is fine, but I need a Disney fix THIS year! I've been so ready to go and actually get to ride stuff since I've been pregnant the past two trips. If we wait until January, it might be horrible timing.
Usually playing Disney World music gets to Darren but I can't get my Iphone app or Live365 to play for me!![]()

I wish you the best of luck, just tell him the weather could be cold in January and might not be able to do stuff, and then throw free dining out there for September because I'm guessing they will have it again. Go to itunes they might have Disney music on there
I'm sorry he's bringing that up! I hope you get your fix this year and don't have to wait. What is his reasoning behind postponing - if you want to share? Would going a couple months later really make a huge difference for him?
And just curious about the bad timing comment...does that mean you are worried you would be preggers with #3 if you wait? Or am I totally reading more into what your wrote![]()
Thanks. We normally do go in January/February, but we went to Tennessee this year instead so we were going to do Disney in September. We missed the window for free dining (unless they offer it again) but we can get 25% off resort, which is what we usually get in January.
I'll have to try Itunes!!
Well, the problem is his parents. All of a sudden they decided (his dad mostly) that they didn't want to go in September after all. Darren said it'd be too hard to go with two little ones by ourselves, we wouldn't get to ride anything together, etc. Which I agree with to an extent, but like I said, I really need my fix!!I even offered to let us all stay in the same hotel room, something I swore I'd never do!
Possibly pregnant with number 3, only it wouldn't be mineI'm about to start the progress of becoming a surrogate mother (like, still figuring out all the details stage) and I know it takes a good while to get matched with intended parents, paperwork, meetings, appointments, etc. I think we could go in September, but I'm HOPING I'll have something definitely going on by January.
So anyway, I want to go to Disney NOT pregnant since it's been so long since a "real" trip for me.![]()
Heather, the surrogacy thing is wonderful, bUt I am telling you, the kid will STILL come out looking like your DH! jk...I hope everything works out for you guys!
Wow what a wonderful thing to do. I did not do pregnancy well and now I'm far to selfish to want to try again.
I hope you get your wish and get to go in September!
Hi Heather! I'm on board with this PTR!! I'm about to start a PTR for Alex's first trip. I'm gonna need lots of tips and pointers from you. I'm so nervous about taking a kid so young (we want to go in December for his first birthday) but I'm excited too. I just don't know what to expect really as far as Alex is concerned as far as naps and eating and all that goes.
I'm loving all of the pictures from your last trip! Glad you're posting themI hope things work out and you get to go in September instead of January. That sucks that your in laws are being poot heads about it.
Oh and I see for your last trip you stayed in the pirate rooms? I want to stay there in December. How did you guys like that resort and how did Bray like the rooms?

Surrogacy is a VERY serious thing. I know this was a joke but in order to help Heather get in the surrogacy mindset, it's probably not a good idea to talk about the baby looking like her or Darren. I absolutely don't mean to offend, I am just good friends with Heather and I've also learned quite a bit about surrogacy due to my infertility and I know it's definitely not an easy process (emotionally).
(I know how things can get out of hand on the dis here, so please don't get offended by my comment...just wanted to bring the seriousness of the process to light)
Thank you so much. I am going for a job interview tomorrow so if I get it, I'm going to put a deposit down on the hotel to hold our room. So if we decide to go for sure, we'll have the room, if not, we can cancel. I just want to make sure we get the deal and maybe we can talk Darren's parents (or someone!) into going in the meantime.
Hey girl. Don't worry! Alex will do fine!! Bray was only 10 months when we went and it was easy. You'll know his routine, so just let him eat when he's hungry and go back to the hotel for naps (you and Chris will benefit from those naps too, trust me!!)
I hope he loves the characters and isn't scared! It's scetchy at that age, and I think Bray would be scared of characters right now lol.
Yes, we stayed in a pirate room! It costs extra but we just asked for it when we checked in and they upgraded us for free. That was really awesome! I think Brayden liked it, I know I did. Caribbean Beach was really nice, but HUGE! The food court was good too.
Thank you. I know what you mean, people say Darren's genes will NEVER get diluted! I know you're just joking, but for the record, I will be a gestational surrogate, meaning the baby will be someone else's COMPLETELY. Some women do traditional surrogacy where they use their own eggs, but I won't be doing that. I'm basically just the oven

I applaud you for being a surogate...I don't think that is something I could ever do, so bravo to you. Any news on the Disney trip front?
You're getting a job? What kind of job are you getting? I thought I would HATE working after Alex was born but I actually really welcome the break so maybe/hopefully it will be like that for you too. I hope the job you interview for tomorrow! GL
Thanks for the advice on WDW with a baby too. That's great to hear that it's easy. I have a PTR going if you feel like putting your two cents in there too. I need all the help I can get from mamas that have BTDT.
Well Carla, funny you should ask. The lady that my interview was with called and canceled a little awhile agoI'm guessing the position has already been filled. It was actually a temp job for a year. It was right down the road from me, working like 6am and getting off at 10am sometimes, m-f, $10 an hour. My sister works there and she said it's super easy. I was really looking forward to getting out of the house for a few hours but not being tied down to a full time job you know? So it sucks I won't be getting it now.
