This will be our first post DAS trip. I know DS (in wheelchair) will not qualify for DAS but am questioning DD. She uses a wheelchair for hypotonia but can walk. She also has autism and self injures when frustrated. We could physically restrain her but that's not my preferred response. We are going in early February and I'm hoping to get away with just using FPP. Will it be quiet enough in February for this or should we try to get DAS?

I'd get one the first day and use it if you need to. We usually go in Feb and the lines aren't terrible, but they can still be longer than she could do.

We love to go the last week of February. This year, between FP+ and our touring plans and the crowd levels we didn't end up using our DAS. We didn't even end up needing all or FPs. Note though that we're typically leaving the park when the crowds are arriving (we eat lunch then leave). I liked having it in case we needed it. It was a safety net in case something went haywire with my plans or rides were down when we expected to ride or something else unforseen happened. I was excited that we didn't end up using it as weird as that might sound but I was glad to have it.
