Just wanted to share my experience with DAS registration this morning. I'm a type I diabetic and during our last trip in Sept '22 I noticed it was pretty tough to keep my blood sugar up where it needed to be due to all the activity. I always carry snacks but I'm not sure I could carry enough to keep things steady all the time. I had to leave a line more than once to go get a dole whip (I know, what an awful problem to have
) to fix the issue and I even found that I was eating whole meals without bolusing. After our trip I found out about DAS and decided to sign up for our December trip. It couldn't have been easier. Did the video chat and briefly explained my experience with lines. I didn't get into diagnoses or anything (I happen to be in a wheelchair as well but that didn't seem relevant based on my understanding of DAS) and just explained the line issues I had experienced. DAS was issued and we booked our advance choices. All in all, I was impressed with the process.
