DAS Tile on Disneyland App

I have read several threads, including the very good sticky thread from SueM in MN. All the threads I have been able to read have noted that the DAS tile on the Disney parks app will appear when you go through the gates. However, my DD pre-registered for DAS last Friday for DLR. The very kind CM told us that the DAS tile should appear in the DLR app in one day. I didn't ask calendar day or business day. Well, either way, the DAS tile has not appeared in the DLR app. Her statement seems contrary to what many have posted here on DIS Boards. So, I'm a bit confused.

So, my question for all you lovely DIS Boarders is, if you pre-register for DAS does the DAS tile appear in the app before you enter the parks or after you move through the tapstiles and enter the park?

For the most part it is after

It should show up the first day it is "active." I'm guessing on your first park day. If it doesn't show up after passing through the gate, close the app and relaunch it. If it still doesn't show, find a Guest Relations CM.

However, there is no benefit to having it show up before you pass through the gates, as you can't do anything with DAS until you are physically in a park.

Mine never shows up until I tap in. My guests show up but can't be checked off unless they have tapped in also.

IME it never shows up until after you've tapped into the parks. It always freaks me out at first and my partner has to remind me. Whatever reservations you have will be in there when it does show up though.
