DAS prior to November 1

Is anyone there now or have the knowledge about those of us who were not included on the video chat but need the DAS. We arrive tomorrow and I think I understand that I just need to present at Guest Services just like always. After my son is then given the DAS, can we use the online system to book or do we need to approach cast members at each ride like before? I'm not sure why those of us who were going to be impacted first, were not included on the video chat option, but ....water under the bridge. Just trying to know how to proceed tomorrow. TIA!!

You will go to any GS location and they can register your son for DAS.

Afterwards you will be able to select attraction return times and link guests in the app. You will also still have the option to obtain DAS return times from CMs at an attraction or 'blue umbrella' guest information location throughout the parks.

One of the nice options on the new Genie (free) app is that once you have tapped into a park, even if you leave that park to go rest at your resort or to have lunch somewhere else, you can still use the app to obtain a return time for an attraction in the park (from outside of that park). That way you can return to the park and have a return time already waiting for you to go do an attraction later in the day. The only restriction is that everyone in your party must have already tapped into the park earlier in the day. The DAS return time scheduling option on the app will only show once you've actually tapped into a park (but it doesn't vanish when you walk out of that park).

You will go to guest services with your son (whom I presume from your description is the DAS recipient) and explain why you need it to GR. Once they grant it, you can book from the app directly all of your DAS return times. They will scan it on your phone when you get to the attraction
