Hi, I have my DAS pass, going to Magic Kingdom with 4yo grand next week, my son & his other 3 boys & wife will join us at HS the following day, however this will put us to 7 guests. any way to figure out how we can go together, I know I can add them to the DAS pass later, but I will have to take off the 4 yo, He is military & this trip is after his last deployment, so we want to be together. and Star Wars is his favorite, since the 4 yo will not be able to ride some rides, would it be best to leave her off, or leave off an adult & do a child swap? will they allow her to do say buzz or slinky dog & child swap if she isn't on the pass? Thank you!

No one who isn't on the pass will be able to go with the group through the tapstyle and ride. They'll be fine if you do rider swap with a little one but the little one won't be able to ride unless you have a LL pass for the little one.

There can be more people connected to the DAS to allow for flexibility in who-rides-what-with-whom. When doing the advanced registration video chat, I believe they will only list a max of 6; others can be added on-site at Guest Relations or a blue umbrella. So only the initial 6 will have Advanced Reservations, more guests cannot be added to those. Whether or not more than 6 total will be allowed a day-of DAS Return Time may vary. Generally it's limited to 6 (DAS-holder + 5 guests).

Child swap means somebody doesn't ride, which doesn't sound like what you want. If the 4-yr-old is too short for some attractions, that's where you can make the DAS Return Time for the other 6 guests, and yes you can use Rider Swap in conjunction with DAS. The DAS-holder must be in Party1 and all riders must have a DAS Return Time even the waiting adult (the non-rider does not need a DAS Return Time).

Have you considered Genie+ for 1 or 2 people and then trying to align with DAS?

We were able to add a 7th person our last trip because we were all family. Just go to Guest Services - it is not guaranteed that you will be able to add another person, but they were very kind and added one more for us. We were not able to change our advance DAS reservations to add a 7th, but we made it work!

This is a link to the WDW website Rider Switch information.

It includes a list of attractions that offer Rider Switch - not all do. It’s not guaranteed that Guest Relations will allow another person to be linked to DAS, but it’s more likely when it’s only one and the whole group is family.
Some attractions might allow a total of 7 to be booked on a DAS Return Time and others might not; my guess is that those offered for Individual Lightning Lane or ones that are typically very busy might not. If all 7 are linked, but only 6 are allowed on a specific attraction, you would be able yo choose which 6 would be on the DAS Return Time

If they are unwilling or unable to add the xtra (as per explained in many of the above comments), they may tell you it's at the discretion of the individual CM at each ride. Most of the time, the reports from people are the CMs usually don't care because it's just ONE person, and they'll usually grant it. But they won't be listed on the return time, it's just that they'll waive them through into the lightning lane when you return.

It's never guaranteed, and sometimes they may say "Yes, but not right now because INSERT REASON HERE" and ask you to come back in X amount of minutes

Thank you. I am planning on getting Genie+ for all of us. Just was wanting to figure out a way we could all do the fun little rides together, since he is back from deployment, and hasn't gone with his little one. My favorite part of going is to watch the enjoyment on all their faces!

Early mornings might be your friend. It’s when lines are the shortest for small stuff because everyone is focused on headliners so you may be able to the normal lines.
