Das + Meeting Characters Launch Bay

Hi, niece has das because she can’t wait in long lines and wants to meet characters in Launch Bay (Chewbacca, Darth Vader) but these character meet and greets aren’t available to select either das advanced or in park via day of das. What accommodations will they do when I request from cast member at line? Can I hold her place in line and a family member brings her when I get to front of line? Separate cue? Or??? Thanks!

Your best bet is talk to the attendant. But they may not have an answer for you

Have not seen a separate queue for any character meet that is without LL. For outside attractions we've seen family members stay close to the area then join the rest of their group when they are 3-4 groups to the front. Have not seen this done in an inside queue though. I would suggest everyone start in the queue, and then one person goes with your niece for a sensory break/bathroom break if needed.
