If we were to book a return time via DAS and also book a genie plus return time for the same ride at a similar time, would the system let us?

If it did let us, which one would be scanned at the entry point for the ride?

I am wondering if this would work to let our DAS rider ride more than once while in the same area of the park.

Yes you shoulbe be able to have both since the systems work independent of each other. If both were in the same window of return, you might have to let the CM know which pass you were using, although I don't know that part for sure.

Yes, you can have both. It may (or may not) be challenging to get them to align for the same window, though, without spending time watching the standby wait. The Genie+ will give you "next available" time, you don't get to choose the time; DAS is based on the current posted standby wait. You'd probably need to work out the timing of DAS to coincide with whatever G+ time you get.

Yeah, I don’t foresee this happening often or easily.

I’m just wanting to be sure the system would not somehow use up both or something when we scanned in.

We just got back from Disney last weekend. We had great success using both Genie+ and DAS. Not on the same ride at the same time though. But we were able to use it to get our DAS rider multiple rides on favorite rides.

I can't think of an instance where we found a Genie+ return time at the same/close time as a DAS return time. However, we planned our DAS around our Genie+ return times. I would try to stack Genie+ return times in a particular area in the afternoons. And then I just kept an eye on DAS return times in that area and requested one once it was near(ish) the first Genie+ return time. As soon as we scanned in for the DAS ride, I'd book another in the same area. We just kept requesting DAS return times until our Genie+ times were used. Between the DAS return times and the Genie+ return times, we were able to knock out all of the rides in a certain area at once. Using this method, my little guy got to ride Slinky Dog Dash, Toy Story Mania, and Alien Swirling Saucers twice each. He also rode RotR, Remy, and MMRR twice each. It didn't work as well in MK, but that was only because it felt like every ride broke down just as we were about to get on it. But that resulted in a recovery pass almost every time, which had no return window and could be used on almost any ride.
