We are taking our son to the Halloween party at Disneyland on Halloween night. I was curious if anyone knew whether they still have DAS at these parties as I anticipate it may be busy given it will be Halloween itself. Appreciate any input.

I don't believe they do as FP+ are not used during the parties. There were no lines for rides when we were at mnsshp last year. There were long lines for the characters but a DAS does no good there anyway.

We're you at DL or MK? Last year we went to the one at MK and there were no lines. 2 years ago we went to one at DL the Friday before Halloween and because they had so many rides closed down for the party, what was open had ridiculous waits. We'll never do MNSSHP at DL again.

I used my DAS at Villians Unkeasjed for rides with no problem. However the character meet and greets hadsduper long lines and did not have any obvious DAS/FastPass access so we did not try.

We will be in California and I am concerned that the lies will be long since its going to actually be Halloween night that we are there. We don't do the character meet and greets if the lines are long since that is always a problem but I was hoping that we can still use the DAS for the rides if needed.

At WDW in the past, GAC was not used during MNSSHP or MVMCP -- as PP mentions, the FP/FP+ lines are not in use so there is no alternative line. I would not expect the DAS to be used at the special holiday parties at WDW. And I believe people posted last year that the DAS was not in use during the parties.

I can't speak for how the parties work at DL -- maybe someone else will share their experience from last year.

Enjoy your vacation!

What about using a DAS during the hours of 4p - 7p, before the park closes? My son has Aspergers, and I would like to try out the DAS. We plan to arrive at 4p so we can catch some rides before the party begins. We will not have a park ticket, just the hard ticket for MNSSHP.

You need a park ticket in addition to the party ticket.
