I'm traveling to WDW this June with my spouse, children, parents and sister. In total, there are 8 of us. Both my father and I qualify for DAS (Parkinson's and MS, respectively). Does anyone have experience with registering 2 guests on one virtual call? Or experience with 2 DAS guests in the app? He's unlikely to want to use his phone all day, so I'm thinking it will be easier for me to the be the point-person for bath passes. I've never used DAS before, so any insight you smart-pants experts can provide is greatly appreciated!

First -- DAS is based on needs not diagnosis. So each of you should be prepared to explain your needs related specifically to waiting in a standard queue. And if a mobility device does not resolve those needs, again be ready to explain why. If you've never used DAS, the first post of WDW SUMMARY OF NEW DAS THREAD pinned near the top of this forum explains it; no need to read the whole thread, just the first post is kept updated.

As to the chat -- are both of you managed on the same MDE account? If not, and since you are both adults, I think you may need to do separate chats. If both profiles are managed on the same account, be sure you are both present (forewarning it can be a long wait on hold) and do the chat together.

My 2 grandsons both qualify for DAS and my daughter always handles them both during the same call. They’ve been DAS kids since their first trip, so I think it streamlines things, as their info is already in the system.

If you are both on the same account, they will most likely handle both of you at the same time. Keep in mind that your father will have to be there also to explain his issues and get his picture taken. Some people wait for hours to get onto the chat. And as lanejudy said, they don't want to hear your diagnosis since that does not help the determine how your needs can be met.

Does anyone have experience with registering 2 guests on one virtual call?
Yes! Different people in my family have significant health issues that cause trouble waiting in line. I’m currently scheduled to go on a trip in a few weeks with 2 of my kids. Both myself & my (adult) son qualify & have been given DAS in the past to help with our physical, medical needs.

I call once, but we both have to log in to our MDE accounts & accept the video terms & conditions before we can chat.
Or experience with 2 DAS guests in the app?
Many times, and it’s super easy!! In the MDE app, after DAS has been registered & activated (which happens on the ”start date” for your DAS), you will be able to request a return time using one of 2 methods-

1. On the map, click the attraction you’d like, click on “Request DAS Return Time;” the time listed is when your DAS window opens.

2. Click the 3 bars at the bottom right of your screen, scroll to the very bottom of the “large buttons” for DAS (it will be next to Transportation), this will populate a list of ALL DAS-eligible options (from all 4 WDW parks), click on the attraction you’d like; the time listed is when your DAS window opens.

He's unlikely to want to use his phone all day
He won’t have to 😉

So, after clicking on the attraction you’d like, you will first be asked to choose which registered DAS guest the return time is for, and then asked which of their linked family & friends will be joining them. If you are both approved for DAS, you will need to go through that process twice to include everyone in your group. Anyone in the F&F group can do this!! It certainly does not have to be the DAS user.
