DAS and Rider Swap Question

I've been reading extensively here about DAS and about Rider swap plans. I think I understand them as individual programs. However, I'm still confused how they work together. Planning a trip for May 6-16 this year. I don't know all the acronyms but our party will be Grandfather, Grandmother, Daughter, Son-in-law, Grandson (6), and Grandson (1). Having read all I could about the DAS, I'm quite sure GS(6) will be granted a DAS . I have planned numerous trips and feel confident I understand most of the ins and outs of process.

My confusion and question primarily concerns rides that are 2 seaters: 7DMT, SDD, etc. At this point I am assuming GS(6) will have a DAS pass. I think that with the DAS, D,SIL, and GS(6) could ride a ride with one adult riding alone and grandparents watching GS(1). Ask for a rider swap and have grandparents ride with GS(6); again one adult riding alone. I'm trying figure a way nobody would be riding alone. I know that's not a big deal, but I'd like to avoid it if I could. Maybe I should have paid more attention in math class! Thanks.

Leave just one adult with the 1 year old. Everyone else rides with the 6 year old, then the last adult rides with the 6 year old via the swap.

The only real impact of DAS used with Rider Swap is that if your party is using DAS for that ride, the DAS holder (the 6-yr old) must ride in group 1.

Like PP, I would split the party 4/2 to avoid someone sitting alone (or with a stranger) on 2-person seats. However, those are relatively few. Most will fit 2 average-sized adults plus a 6-yr-old no problem, so a 3/3 split will work well.

Enjoy your vacation!

Thank you both. This does sound like the most reasonable solution.
