DAS AND MAGIC BANDS

Due to a new medical condition I will need the das for the first time. The kids and I will be doing rope drop to minimize waits in line but dh will be joining us later in the day. Can I take dh's magic band to link it to the das at guest relations during our first morning and he enters with his rfid card which has his park tickets on it? Would he then be able to use his magic band for the rest of the vacation to enter the parks and fp rides or is he stuck with the rfid card?

i am not 100% sure but it dose say all bands and card are interchangeable I will be going in december and will be in your places as the people I am going with are coming latter that day and may not be at the park until the next day

Yes, I was told by a guest relations CM that you can bring the bands of those you need linked to your DAS without the person attached.

Worst case scenario, you meet DH at the front of the park with his band if the card doesn't work.

You can bring the bands of everyone in your party to Guest Services and they can link them without them being there. My party did it just this week....there were three people present at GS (including the DAS holder) and they took the bands for the other 5 people in our party. They were able to link them without issue.

Also, the RFID card only reads the information on the MDE account, the same as the magic band does. Your DH should be able to use them interchangeably and wouldn't be stuck only using the card.
