Hi again! This is a complicated one so bear with me. I'm hoping someone here with little ones will have experience of using DAS with little ones.
I have a medical condition that on previous trips allowed me to have the DAS card - without this my husband and I would barely been able to ride any attractions. I'm assuming I will still qualify for the DAS this time around, but we will now be travelling with our 3 kids, aged 5,3 and 1. Obviously there are going to be some attractions the baby can't go on, but I am desperate to ride - FOP and RoTR mainly. So here is my question , if I ride say RoTR using the DAS with my eldest child, will I be able to ask for parent swap for my husband when I check in for the ride? Or would he be required to enter the main standby line? My health condition means that me being left for a long period of time with the smaller 2 may be a problem if my condition flares up. We are using fastpasses where we can but have been unable to get them for FOP and they are not available for Rotr or MFSR.
Thanks in advance for your help!

I will warn you about the special procedures regarding RotR. You must arrive at the park fairly early and get a boarding group to be allowed to ride this ride. You may not go directly to the ride and request a return time at this time. Once your boarding group is called, people have reported being able to use rider swap. I haven't seen any reports of anyone actually using DAS on this ride because the line has been fairly short due to the boarding groups. There is a huge thread on the theme parks board with daily reports of ride operations. I may suggest posting this query on the disabilities forum as well, folks over there may have das and Baby swap experience.

Generally speaking -- yes, you can use DAS and baby swap at the same attraction. Include all riders when you request a DAS return time. The DAS holder must ride first in "party 1" but "party 2" can then use the FP+ queue.

I'm not sure how this may work with the newest Star Wars attraction. As PP mentions, you have to arrive at the park early to get a boarding group. Then my understanding is that you cannot request a DAS until your boarding group is called, which may be a long time. But the wait time once your boarding group is called can be relatively quick. If they are issuing DAS, yes you should be able to use it with Rider Swap as long as the DAS-holder rides first with "party 1."

Enjoy your vacation!

Just to note - you'll have to arrive super early at HS to even get a boarding group, and will have to wait an hour or so outside the gates to have a chance to be one of the lucky groups to get access. At least, that's what is happening now. When is your trip?
