We use the DAS program and went to City Hall last trip to add the DAS to our AP for the few days we'd be in the parks in March. My understanding is we need to re-enroll in the DAS program each trip but I saw something (can't find it now, grrr!) that I think said APs who have had a DAS before can re-enable the DAS (and add guests?) by visiting any of the in-park information booths. Is this a thing? Would love to save the standing outside City Hall time!

With an AP, your DAS is good for 60 days at a time. When you need to renew or just want to check to see if your DAS is still valid, stop by any of the Information Kiosks (dark green umbrellas, CMs wearing plaid) in either park to check with a CM there. If you need to renew, the CM will have to ask you the standard DAS questions all over again because that info is not stored in their computers. You will sign the agreement again and have your photo taken. At that time, you can add or remove people from your DAS list. If you need to add names for a one day visit, a CM at one of the Information Kiosks should be able to help you.

Great! Thank you very much for the rundown!

Keep in mind that there have been a few times recently when CMs at the Information Kiosks have wanted me to renew at City Hall or at Chamber of Commerce. One CM even offered to escort me over. When I asked if he could do what I needed at the Kiosk, he finally agreed to do so. Not sure why some CMs prefer to send you to CH or CoC, but some do. So don't be surprised if this happens.

It varies. I have found that if you are renewing within a few days of expiration, they will do it at a green umbrella. If it's been more than a week, they prefer for you to go to City Hall/Chamber of Commerce.

You can add people anytime, at a green umbrella. Those people will be on there until the next time you renew. We often add a person when we have family visiting from out of town.
