So thanks to all your wonderful advice, I am just back from a fantastic holiday
So a quick review, we went away, just my DH, myself and my 3 year old who is non-verbal and who we have been informed is Autistic (due to the NHS lists we're waiting on further test to know the full extent of my son's problems - it's a bit of a wait but they have been amazing) went for a 2 weeks visit to Disney.
On the first day at the IG guest services desk we got my son set up with a DAS pass and got a little red tag that marked his pushchair as a wheelchair. The whole process was quick easy (well trying to get him to pose for the Ipad photo took a bit of work) and really straight forward. We even got this sorted before the Epcot morning EMH
I found the DAS pass so simple to use and combined with the FP+ we had only needed to use it very sparingly.
Having the pushchair marked as a wheelchair also meant that if there was between a 10-20 wait and depending on his mood we could do a bit of queuing as he could happily sit safe in his own space.
The Photopass Photographers were very accommodating we just quickly explain about his condition and how he wasn't very good at looking a camera and they all were very good with him and with every spot we got at least one amazing shot.
The characters were also great with him, he obviously took better to some than others - I was shocked that he adored Kylo Ren - and the moment when he went in for a hug with piglet was truly amazing as he not very tactile even with people he does know.
Even at the restaurants they were so accommodating, with allowing us, where available, to have booths or at the character meals like the Crystal palace having a seat against the wall for him so no characters walked behind him.
As some of you know from my previous posts I was a bit worried about this trip and how he would cope but he had the best time every, was always smiling and happy which in turn made me a relaxed and happy mummy.
Disney has always been one of my favorite holiday destination and has gone even further up in my estimation after this trip.
