DAS advanced selections vs day of question?

Hi.
I've gotten DAS in the past and it was very easy to understand how it worked.
With the new options I'm having a hard time knowing if I'm understanding it correctly.

I'd like to pre register regardless of whether I choose to select 2 per day in advance.

One question I have about advanced selections is...
It states 2 to 30 days prior to "a park visit" so does that mean I can only do it one day at a time or have to wait until all park days are within the 30 day period? Or if I'm staying onsite could I pre register and make advanced selections for each day at the same time?

The other question I have is...
If I do advanced selections do I have to wait until I use those in order to get another one on the day of?
Say I get a return window of 1pm-2pm and 2pm-3pm for the advanced selections.
When I walk into the park at 9am can I get a day of return time or do I have to wait until I used my 2pm-3pm advanced selection?

Everything says this is in addition to normal DAS but then I read a DIS article that makes it seem like you must use your advanced ones first but on MDE it says you can hold one at a time not counting the advanced ones.

So really just looking for clarity.

I would hate to get late afternoon return windows for the advanced ones and then not be able to use DAS as I go throughout my day.

You have to get the Das advance within 30 to 2 days if your trip so if you go for 10 days you will need to wait 20 days out to call.

No you do not have to wait unto you use your two das advance

All days of your visit must be within the 30-day window to do DAS pre-registration.

You do NOT need to use the Advanced Selections before getting a standard DAS return time on that day. You don’t even have to use the Advanced Selections at all if your plans ended up not working for those times.
