Hi all.

Was hoping for some guidance on DAS. We are in the UK and have just been granted DAS for our upcoming trip for our son. We have a 14 day Disney ticket, and the wording as I understand is that DAS is valid for "1 year or the length of the ticket, whichever is shorter" which for us is obviously the 14 day ticket.

We also have another trip in May 2026, and I wondered if we upgraded our 14 day ticket to an annual pass would that mean that we don't have to do the DAS call again, or are we too late?

The annual pass is more expensive than the cost of 14 day tickets for our 2 trips, but it was a really uncomfortable experience on the call and one that left him feeling quite upset and withdrawn by having to answer the questions (I understand the need for it so I'm not complaining) so would be happy paying the extra for the annual pass to mean we don't have to go through this again before the next trip.

Thanks!

If you’d had an AP at the time of your DAS interview it would be valid for 1 year. However it is attached now to the 14-day ticket and won’t be extended even if you upgrade to AP. You’ll need to do another DAS interview for the next trip.
