Thanks for the info Peg. We love Disney, Mickey and Star Wars. I was bummed that we would not be able to get one of these... so I just went and ordered 2.
Feralpeg said:I went to MGM today. They had a sign saying that the demand for Darth Mickey took them totally by surprise. They are currently sold out at the park, but you can order them online at www.disneygallery.com. You can only order per email id and you won't receive them until September or October.
They are less than they were selling for in the park. In the park, they were $12. These are selling for $8.95 plus shipping.
I just ordered my two. Maybe Disney has learned something from this.
For those of you attending SWW who want the limited edition pins. Don't wait in line to get into Tantooine Traders. They are not selling the limited edition merchandise there. They are selling it at the Indiana Jones store. No line there. I walked right in and got what I wanted in a matter of minutes.

doombuggy said:Actually, this is incorrect. They ARE selling ltd merchandise at the shop. I went last Satruday to get the LTD watch, and also got all 4 LTD pins (event pin, opening day pin & the 2 LTD pins that were released that weekend), and Darth Mickey (he's sitting with my other SW beannies). They have other LTD merch in the store as well. The deal was that if you wanted that kind of stuff and other regular items, you had to stand in the line. If you wanted just the regular items available through out the store, it was advised that you ride the ride (if that would be quicker) and then shop in the store for non-ltd stuff afterwards when you exited. Either way, it was mobbed. One on the guys behind us in line swapped with his wife & took their son on the ride. When he got in the store, he called her and he picked up a couple of Darth Taters for my friend, and a bobble head for another woman behind us. Ok, we stood in line for almost two hours talking....
The pins are available at Golden Age Souveniers & Backlot Express Cart, also, per the Disney Cast Portal. I was going to head over there later today after work to pick up some more pins.
