I started a new medication last night and the doctor had warned me that one of the "possible" side-effects was nausea. She recommended taking the pill at night so I could just "sleep through it".
Well holy death Batman! I woke up about an hour after taking the pill and thought I was dying. Plus waking up suddenly feeling like imminent death triggered a panic attack, so there I was having a total puketacular freak-out. My chest was tightened, arms and legs weak, heart pounding, and stomach doing things it was never ever meant to do.
The bad news is, this is simply the "low-dose" I have to take daily for 7 days. Then next week I have to DOUBLE it! AND I'm not particularly sure how long I'll have to stay on this medicine. Could be a month, could be much, much longer.
The doctor had suggested an alternative if the pill made me sick. Let's just say I won't need a glass of water to get the pill where it has to go...
Anyone else suffering through the side effects of something?
