I've been on my diet since Saturday but this will be my first post in my journal.
A little about myself... I'm 23, I live in the lovely yet HOT state of Florida, have lived here since 1987 when we moved to be closer to our family. I've always been on the chubby side, which was cute when I was 3 or 4 but now it's plain old ugly...
I've been smaller at some points (when I was in tennis camp and swim team) but never really tiny by any means. It wasn't until HS that I got pretty large and now I'm at a weight of 345 (I think, last time I visited ER I was) and hate it. I'm more than ready to make a change for a healthier me. I've tried diets before, once did the MAYO diet and it started to work however after loosing 20 pounds I got preggers but lost my daughter to miscarriage in 2001, so needless to say I gained it all back. So here I sit, a fiance' and a few moves later and starting all over again. I take care of my godchildren fulltime so having opps to go to the gym shouldn't be so bad. And I don't have to eat out at all.
1/3- Went shopping for Atkins Diet allowed foods, did well, stocked up on Bacon, Salad mix and dressing, frozen veggies, cheese, cucumbers, eggs, steaks, etc. And Diet Rite soda.
Made Stir Fry Salad for dinner (salad mix, with thin sliced steak and broccolli that I stir fried in the Atkins Steak Sauce).
1/4- Had Cheese Omelets and Bacon for breakfast, salad with tuna for lunch, dinner was steaks w/ garlic and broccolli with cheese.
1/5- Same breakfast and lunch, dinner was hamburger steak with atkins sauce and califlower. A few slices of peperoni for snack. And a ham wrap (slice of ham, little Cream Cheese and some black olives sliced)
1/6- Fried Eggs and Bacon, Salad/tuna again for lunch, dinner was Burgers Without the Bun (fried hamburger steaks, with bacon, ceaser dressing and some cheddar all melted on top of steak) and Yellow Squash. And Turkey Wrap for snack (turkey slice with CC and sliced Black Olives)
Started exercising on 1/5 did mile in 21 minutes, biked one in 6.2 minutes and did some lat pulls. Also exercised on 1/6 did mile in 20 minutes, biked one and did 20 reps on each of the weight machines. Also managed to get down all my water and then some... two 1/2 32 ounce bottles... yahoo!
