Darkness on attractions

Can anyone tell me if any of the rides at DLP are truly pitch black?

Rides I think might be I avoid like the plague but would love to go on!

I can cope with the dark spells (ish) at the start of Phantom Manor and the BTM but that's my limit!!!

Some complain of Peter Pan and Snow White being very dark in places but it not for any length of time.

The darkest place I find is walking through the queue at POTC purely because it takes a while for your eyes to adjust and I cant see where I am going

You are never plunged into darkness for any length of time though - Space Mountain and RNR I think may be dark but I always have my eyes closed so couldnt tell you

Rock n Roller coaster and Space Mountain are dark with strobe type lights. can't think of any others apart from what has been mentioned.

yeah must admit my heart gets a little thumpy in Peter Pan how tragic is that?

strobe lights? so can you still see the odd thing I'll take it? i.e black hole at Alton Towers is my idea of hell but as long as there is some light to focus on (like little stars!!) Im okay!

yes I think it is that type of thing - though they both go so fast I can't really concentrate on what is around me.

Been on space mountain twice never seen a thing ,my eyes are always shut think it will be the case on the TOT as well I can always ask the two 11yr old girls im going on with what happens
