Yes there is magic in the world, you just have to open your heart and believe.

You will never know how much more there is to you till you take the time to look. Sometimes you just have to believe in yourself, even when no one else does.

WISH rocks!!!

Dave:goodvibes

Dave -- I agree and I am so glad that you had an experience that brought you to that conclusion. :goodvibes: But let me tell you something -- even more amazing than believing in yourself when no one else does is when your faith in yourself is flagging and you have friends who believe in you more than you believe in yourself. And they lift you up and they hold you there until you get your legs under you and start believing in your ability to fly again!

Yes, WISH rocks. The wonderful people here have brought me some of the most amazing moments of my life! Even now, I wear a bracelet that some WISH friends gave me that says "WISHes will come true" and a necklace that has a charm from another WISH friend that says "26.2" -- simply awesome!

Miranda Erica and I are going to be dancing the night away at the Pleasure island party after the marathon. Get that mom and dad of yours and come join us. It's so fun to gather with the other athletes and wear your medals.

Dave,

Yes, the WISH list rocks. Have "met" many new friends via the web and a few during the marathon(Lily). My DW and I look forward to meeting many more at Minnie and RFTT! And of course next year at the Goofy:banana:

All of you have been great helping me with my website! I could do it without all of you visiting and contributing:) A labor of love has become(as a Canadian website link states) a "cult" website. This little train that could will have 25,000 hits in just over a year:yay: Who would have thunk it:confused3 All of your positive attitudes and reports are inspiring many other newbies who have emailed me stating that. Your influence goes beyond this list!

Does that make you a prophet of the cult of the mouse.:cool1: Since we are accused of being addicted to the call of the ears.

Dave:)

I have some of those, bear of very little brain, moments to. But if you look for the good in others you can usually find it. A nice thing about being 55 is I can be senile and people say "oh poor thing he can't help it", instead of "what a dummy".

:rotfl:

Darn it all, I've got another 20 years before they stop calling me a dummy. ;) ;)

I'll have only 13 the day after Minnie:hourglass

The only problem is I don't look old enouth to be 55 so I don't get the benefit either.

But at work I'm good for the minority quotas. I'm a senior citizen, a vet, and mentally unstable. (Just ask anyone, tell them you are doing the Goofy and they will inform you that you are in need therapy).

If they measure mental unstability by doing the Goofy, I am in real trouble as I am doing my 3rd:scared1:

I wouldn't say that in the wrong company, that would justify being locked up for your own safty in most states.

Of course in some countries where walking and running is how you commute, you might be considered a slacker.
