Do many participate at Disneyland?

Just learned about it today.

yes, it's very popular and it gets very crowded! we've participated once and have been dying to do it again! it's so much fun to be at the parks all dressed up and to see everyone's outfits. they have 2 ride "take overs" (the time we did it, it was the carousel and the mark twain) and i *think* they do a group photo as well.

I am really excited about going in April (we will be buying APs for 2017). I've never been, but have always wanted to go. I can't wait!

We will be going the same time as spring Dapper days in 2017. Is the savings on park tickets worth dressing up and participating in dapper days? We dont stay online so we would save any money there, it would just on tickets. Does anyone know what the discounted rate usually is?
