I just wrote about our first trip to DL on the DL boards.

But one thing I didnt mention was that Dapper Day at DLR was fantastic. For those not familiar, Dapper Day is a day when people dress up in their Sunday Best.( A lot of people do it in a sort of retro-way, or even a steam punk way.) Regardless, I had never even heard of this at WDW, but apparently this is a big thing at DL as there were so many people in costume in the parks. It was incredibly fun to ride the train around the park and just look at everyone all dressed up like in the 1930s or something.
I love riding rides in a costume on MNSSHP, it just adds a level of silliness, so I guess I shouldnt be surprised I love Dapper Day. But Im distressed I dont see a single Dapper Day thread anywhere near the start of the WDW forum right now.
The WDW Dapper Day is March 9th.

I hope some people dress up and have fun with it. This is a DLR tradition that we really need to build up at WDW.
