So i know offical dapper day/evening in the park for fall is 18th sep, but the expo goes 18th-19th, will folks still be dressing dapper in the parks on the 19th?

We have attended the past two Dapper Day events. Yes, people do dress up throughout the weekend. However, its a small amount of people. The majority of people dress up only for the one day.

We LOVED dressing up for the event. We wore our regular clothes in the morn and then switched into our Dapper outfits after our afternoon break. I can only get three young boys to wear bow ties for so long! Lol

I went for a long weekend for spring Dapper Day (which was on a Sunday) and there were definitely people dressed out the day before as well. Not as many, but you won't feel like your'e the only one. I personally dress in a vintage/dapper fashion most days when I'm in the parks, and combine it with Disneybounding, event day or not. It's fun!

I was thinking of dressing up twice this dapper day since we'll be attending Friday in the parks and then checking out the expos on Saturday. Maybe just a little toned down the second day....just maybe

I arrive early afternoon on the 19th, so just miss out on the actual day! But i'd love to still dress up, i have some lovely 50's dresses that i don't wear enough!

This fall will be the first Dapper Day event my family is attending. So excited! Do most of the Dapper dressers arrive by morning and treat it as an all-day thing, or do more tend to show up later in the day or evening? Since it will probably be very hot, we were thinking of maybe not dressing up until our Mid-day break, but if the majority of Dapper dressers treat it as an all-day thing, then we certainly want to be a part of that :yay: Any insight would be helpful. We have APs for the year and are experienced Disneylanders, but total newbies when it comes to Dapper Day and what goes on.

The first year we went, we were staying at the GCH, so we went to DCA for early entry and we went back and changed around 12:00. This last February, we stayed across at the Desert Inn and Suites, so we got dressed before going into the parks to avoid having to walk back just to change. Since we'll be staying at the GCH again for the fall dd, we'll probably just do the ee/change later plan. Bottom line, there are tons of people dressed up all during the day, but I suppose it's really where you're staying and deciding if you want to go back just to change. I feel like the dressed up definitely outnumber the not dressed up as the day goes on, possibly due to locals. The fall DD being a Friday, I think that will be the case as most locals might not take the entire day off to attend.

Thanks! We'll be staying at GCH too, so the mid-day break to change will be great with the close proximity.

Looks like I will be in DL for Dapper day!
I have been at WDW during a few dapper days but didn't know ahead of time.
I'm seriously considering dressing Dapper!
Now begins the search for something to wear!
