Does anyone know how quickly the rooms for Dapper Days books up? I'm looking at the 2015 in February and was wondering about how long I have to make reservations.

Extremely quickly. They occasionally open up additional blocks of rooms, but they go darn quick, so book them as soon as you can. I BARELY got rooms at the Grand for September they sold out so quick.

Thank you! My dad and I are planning another trip for my son and when I saw these rates come out yesterday I got so excited because I didn't think Disneyland in 2015 would be possible :thumbsup2

They can't possibly have the rooms available yet for February, do they?

One more question....these are obviously only the hotel rates, we'd buy tickets at the gates right? Those are regular priced?

THey offer discounted tickets too. My wife's 3-day park hopper for DD was done at a 19% discount booking through the DD site.

So I just read this -

Disney may contact guests who book discounted rooms that do not include one of the primary dates of Dapper Day Events, and may cancel those reservations.

The dates for Feb 28 - Mar 1, I had planned to book through DD Feb 22-27 as those are available to book at the DD rate, so I would not be there for the actual event. This worries me.

They could. We do Dapper Day though (and dress up all day), so not an impact for us. They didn't do any cancellations last year for people NOT doing the actual DD, but things change.

Maybe just to be safe we change it to check out on March 1? My son will only be 3 so we'd like to go when the crowds aren't too high because we went in May during the heat wave this year lol

Maybe the 24-1 would be safer?

THis last Feb for Dapper Day, Sunday was over the top busy. Bear that in mind whatever day Dapper Day activities fall on will be a 12 on the business scale of 1 to 10.

I think our park days would be the 24-28 with the 1st being our travel day back home so we wouldn't even be in the park, but I would rather not risk our reservations being canceled because we won't be there ON the event day with the original dates, but if we altered it a few days we'd be checking out on event day.

THat sounds like a solid plan to me.

They just released them yesterday!!!! :cool1:

Oh THANK YOU for the head's up!!

I hadn't been looking for the spring dates, mainly because they are usually earlier in February.

I'd love to be there during DapperDay's events. I grew up in SoCal in the 50's and early 60's, we went to DL often. Seeing the Dapper's would be like ole' times at Disneyland.

Our school calendar has NoSchool on Wed, Thur and Fri the first week of March. I'd planned to fly down after school March 3rd for 5 nights, off-site. Now you have me re-thinking my dates and possibly staying on-site.

Hmmm, how to get my son to let the grandkids miss a couple day of school.
I'm going to need some Disney Magic and a double dose of pixiedust:

Thanks again

Geemo

Dapper Day organizers send out an email announcing the Spring dates on July 13. I booked my room on July 19, so the rooms are certainly available now :goodvibes

We booked our trip!! So excited!

Does anyone know when the final amount is due on the room? I didn't realize it was just a deposit, we thought it was the full cost.

This worries me a bit too as I just booked us for Mar 3-7 at DLH from the DD link. I also purchased airfare, so we're going no matter what. If they cancel our res we'll have to either pony up the full rate, or jump to a GNH, but either way we'll be there!
