Dare I spill the beans?

For those of you that are into this fad, er um, I mean newest Disney collectable, there is an artist named Randy Noble, who will be signing his holiday Vinylmation creation, Very Merry Gingerbread, on December 4th at the Magic Kingdom inside the Main Street Gallery from 6 to 8 PM. Randy Noble will also be appearing at the Art of Disney store at Epcot on December 9th from 5 to 7 PM, but he is there primarily to promote his new canvas and giclee pieces.

Our plan is to buy the Very Merry Gingerbread Vinylmation at the 12/06/09 MVMCP, our first day in the parks, and then have him sign it on the 9th over at Epcot. This will give us a relatively inexpensive piece that is a neat souvenier for our holiday trip that lots of other folks just won't have. I love meeting Disney artists. We have lots of neat stuff in our home that is signed. We are also hoping to meet Jim Shore at Epcot during our trip.

When is Jim Shore going to be around? I haven't heard this, but love his Disney pieces.

UPDATE: Ahh, I just double-checked. So this is one of the new 3" tin vinyls (I'm fairly new to this fad). Very cool. I definitely want to get my hands on the Osbourne Lights one.

I have the monkey one, now I wish I had purchased more. Do you guys think they are at the NYC World of Disney store?

On vinylnation.net they talk about it being at the NYC World of Disney store. It's really helpful if you want to find out anything about the world of vinylmation.

Three years ago I visited WDW and Jim Shore was there. He was sitting in the American store in Epcot. I was going to buy something, but then I got mad, because they are made in China, not America. (at the time I wasn't a huge fan of his). So, I skipped. By the way, he was sitting at the table quite lonely. NO ONE was there. Last year I decided to bring my mom back a Jim Shore figurine for watching my girls. So, we headed over to Epcot. Holy Cow!!! We waited in line for over an hour. There were people having him sign more than 15 pieces. It was crazy. And, most of the people weren't buying them at WDW. They were bringing them along. He has been there the first week the last few years.

OooOO, this is bad!! They have them at disneystore.com. On a good note, now I know what to tell people to buy me for Christmas. Where am I going to put all of these?!
