I own a couple of Dansko shoes and LOVE THEM! When I'm on my feet all day and wearing Dansko shoes, my feet and back don't hurt. They are SO comfortable. I also love Chaco shoes! I bought mine on Amazon when they had a clearance sale.

I find Danskos more comfortable than going barefoot or wearing athletic shoes. They have the best arch support of any shoes I have ever had. It is very important, though, to go to a store and have them fitted correctly.

Alot of the nurses at work wear them - and love them.

They base of the shoe is too high for me.

I have 3 pairs.
2 pair of the open back clog and 1 pair of the closed back clog
they are very comfortable, although the closed pair did start to bother the top of my foot last time I wore them.

dansko are all I have been wearing in my nursing jobs for at least 12 years now.

Anybody own a pair? Opinion???

I've had two pair, and friends have some, too. My friends love them. I have a weird foot, so they don't fit my arch quite right. Too far forward in my normal size, and too far back in the next size up. But they are very well made and comfy for most people.

I own 3 pair. I have plantar faciitis (sp?) and I haven't had a flare up since wearing these shoes. I love the high arch!

I have a few pairs. It took awhile for me to get used to them. They really correct your posture, and apparently mine must have been horrible.

But now I love them, love them!! Will only wear birks, or these when working the floor, and keep a pair in my office just in case.

I have bought them at the outlet mall, and ebay to save a bit. But do go to the store and be fitted before you order them online.

These have been recommended to me but everytime I've gone to get fitted, the top of the shoe is too wide/high for me (if that makes sense??). I can't get a good fit on the shoe portion and I don't even have an overly narrow foot--it just doesn't have a lot of fat on it.

I have a dozen pairs! What I wear to work almost every day. On any given day in my hospital I bet 50% of the women are wearing them !

I need to replace my pair. I've had them for 9 years and they still look like new-- there is still tread and the insides look great. But, the bottom of one is cracked and my foot gets wet. (It was not from wear, I stepped on a nail.)

I found a style that looked similar to the ones I have, but when I tried them on in the size I have and one size larger they were very uncomfortable and felt too tight. I can't find any other stores that carry them. I guess I will have to try online.

I am very cheap and would never spend that much on a pair of shoes. (A friend gave me the pair I have.) But I figure if they will last me for a decade than I'll get my money's worth out of them.
