Word of caution with Dansko's: for walking or standing only.
My DH has to run the stairs for code calls with a big heavy box and couldn't do that in Dansko's and I'm way too uncoordinated to wear them. I wear Ecco or Avia and have good luck with them. I can't understand how anyone is wearing a pair of work shoes for years. I can really tell when they are shot even if they look brand new on the exterior. I start to have aching in my calves and my feet hurt.
