Danny25 and Black562 are eerily quiet this weekend

I have been reading the boards for years and never posted.
My wife started with the Disney obsession and it has now moved to our entire family.
We have been patiently waiting like many for Free Dining and were hoping that Danny25 would have a post this weekend.
We are still hoping that Danny25 or Black562 will have some good news for us.

It has been an eerily quiet weekend which I hope is the calm before the storm so to speak.
Thanks for all you do Danny25 and Black562 and I hope we see something soon as my wife and children are very anxious for late August early September deals.(Aug 27-Sept 3)

I've been busy for a week and haven't checked in, is something supposed to be announced soon? I thought we were looking at later in April for fall discounts (if any).

Danny25 had mentioned in an earlier post that he would have information 20 days in advance and the dates that Danny25 and Black562 had guessed the release of deals would be released were April 26th or April 24th.

I am just waiting and hoping.

This is my first year on the board. I don't see much from Danny. But look forward to seeing stuff from black, as he always says what I want to hear. You say Danny knows 20 days before release, does he tell us 20 days before? How do they know so much?

We are waiting too. We kept tossing around going for the holidays but we just can't do it with the kids school and college. So it is back to the last week of August for us. Fingers crossed a fd code comes out!!!!!!

Let´s be honest nothing it´s clear yet, I want to believe that previous years offers will be mantained but I don´t see anything about that, and things change from one day to other, let´s wait with our fingers crossed

By the way, the 24th and 26th predictions were when we feel free dining will begin in August. I had predicted the promo release date around April 25th for visa holders (they love their Thursdays). Keep in mind these are estimates. It could drop later, but I doubt it would drop any earlier.

Yeah I took your information about the Disney visa possibly being released on April 25th and Danny25 statement that he would know 20 days in advance and was hoping that meant he would have the info this weekend. Hello Black, hope that you and your family are enyoing this wonderfull weekend too,if you let me, i want to tell to all my Disfriends that I don´t know when somebody have started saying that I have predicted the FD starting August 24th, but after that coment now all the forums including the Dis are talking about this date, only to clarify that I have sayed "the ideal time frame it´s AFTER August 24th but not that day in particular. Until I have the rigth information, I will not make any prediction about a particular date, like always when I came and say my classic "Ladies and Gentlemen ....." and only at that moment, I will give you the exact date and all the information concerned about the existence of 2013 FD.
Sorry but I don´t want to create fake hopes about something that it´s really important for a lot of families, I expéct that all of you understand this clarification, see you really soon

Yea I think you said in a post after the 26th and someone took it as that date. But yes I don't think it will begin before the 24th as some believe as far back as the 18th.

Hello in the case that FD will be offered this year, you must buy a package to get the FD, normally a 3 nigth (at least) stay with tickets for a minimum 2 days for all in the same room, if you already have the tickets you can buy the new tickets with the offer and if you don´t activate them you can keep them for a future trip to Disneyworld they will expire 14 days after the first use only if you use them at least 1 time, hope this answer your question

I am checking in on August 31. This is Labor Day weekend. When FD has been available in the past, are the Friday or Saturday check-ins on that weekend been black-out dates? Thanks!
