Danielle & Chris: 11-11-11 WP/ADH/DP Wedding PJ/TR - Complete *(1 Year Anniversary)

The ornaments are beautiful and I think a great gift for both sets of parents. ;) I cannot believe one of your groomsmen waited until now to back out of the wedding...I am glad you got someone else! I have already asked DF to get the big suitcase out for me as well!! I get married the day after you! :yay:

First of all.. eww, I honestly just don't understand people sometimes! How he could wait til so late in the game to back out is beyond me. Irresponsibility just really irritates me, I'm so sorry to had to deal with that! Also sorry that people are giving you extra stress like about the shoes.

Tell Chris that he needs to pick one soon or you will do it for him! I do find that many guys work better with the deadline (just "in time for the wedding" may not cut it! :rotfl:)

The ornaments you are giving as gifts are beautiful! :goodvibes

ONE MONTH!!!!! :cool1::cool1::cheer2::cheer2::bride:

(On a side note, WOW winter is coming soon! I'm so excited--- winter is my favorite season!)

Ugh, I'm sorry about having a GM drop. Men are so annoying. (And I can say this, as I have lost two!) And I'm also sorry DF hasn't chosen his ring yet! What really helped Chris (my Chris that is!) choose a ring is we went to a store where he had to choose some from a catalog, and then they brought 5 in and he chose from those 5, so it really helped narrow down the selection. Maybe you can do something like that?

And what the heck! $40 is nothing for shoes! Nada! No big deal. Geez louise.

The ornaments are so pretty. :D You definitely need one!

I'm so excited that you get to pack. <3

HAPPY ONE MONTH TWINNY!!!!

WE ARE SO CLOSE!!!!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

I love those ornaments! What a cute idea!

So sorry about the groomsman, but glad you got everything squared away and ready with a new one! :)

We still need to think of a place and time to meet!! I want to seeeee youuuuu!!!

<3!!!

Poor Chris! I hope he finds one that he likes and soon. My brother just got engaged and the day after he picked out his wedding band! Never mind that they aren't getting married until 2013 or 2014! Anyway, I love the ornaments for the parents. So lovely and a great idea.

Yeah, there's been even more progress with this groomsmen stuff...oh joy. I also told Chris if he doesn't pick one soon then he's just gonna have to settle.

I love how we always egg each other on to buy things! :rotfl: You have persuaded me to buy that ornament! LOL.
Yeah, all this stuff all at once, sheesh!!!

Good luck getting all the last minute things worked out.

Thank you! I hope they do too!

I know...I wanna see you too!!! I think I'm gonna send you my schedule and we can work from there!

Ohh, I wish Chris worked that way! He's still hemming and hawing.

So...Just dropping in to give another fast update on where we are!

We leave 3 weeks from today. :scared1:
I still have a handful of things to do, but I think I'll finish in time. (I hope! :lmao:)

-I have my second dress fitting tonight! Two of my girls are coming with me to learn how to hustle that bustle. I'm really excited to see it all done and altered.

-The groomsmen that was replacing our drop-out groomsmen has also backed down. He is still in school and he's frantically working on his senior thesis show, so I completely understand his reasoning. We switched more guys around and have a new, new replacement groomsmen! :rotfl: He's already paid for his tux in full, so I don't think he's going anywhere.

-Chris still hasn't gotten a ring...
He finally found one he liked (BIG shocker) but then we found out it was about 3 times out of my price range. So, I'm hoping we can find something similar, but cheaper!

-Chris also started making his groomsmen gifts. He's etching glass beer mugs with the boys' names, whittling little statuettes of each guy, and he made them man soap last night. All I can say, is it really just smells like man :rotfl: He melted down goats milk soap and added in blueberry seeds, thyme, rosemary, lime zest and beer. :confused3 I just hope no one breaks out from it!

-We've finished up our DJ song list and picked all our planned songs...just gotta send that back!

-Since our RSVP date...7 people have dropped out! Granted, that saves a bit of money, but I'm tired of having to do the seating chart and escort cards over again.

-I'm having a phone conference with our planner, Carol, on Thursday. I've been compiling last minute questions and changes.

-OH, and we also paid off our final payment! So, we're good to go! Woo hoo!

That's about as much as I'm going to type right now. Seeing that list just made all my internal organs do a flip-flop. Happy Tuesday! :wizard:

We'll be there soon!! My to do list and list of final expenditures is making me want to vom... but the end result is that 3 weeks today it will be my last day of work before we leave!! Good Luck with your to-do list!! I know we'll get everything done!!

I think I decided that Conch Key is a good location for an outer building. They said Sago Cay is right by the dock and can be loud in the morning. People who have kids and want to be by the pool go to Big Pine Key  Can you tell I've been researching??

Yay for DF being all creative!! The most mine has done was lick the announcements :rotfl2:

I'm glad your groomsmen situation got fixed!! Surf Amazon for a ring... they have tons!!

Well my dear... it's almost time... it's finally here. As much as I want to :yay: My insides feel like :scared1: :lmao:

At least you got your groomsmen situation worked out! So frustrating!

And I totally feel your pain about people "un-RSVP"ing. The same thing happened to us, I think we had about 8 do that and tell us ahead of time, and then another 3 that didn't show up on the day. That was a really big deal for me, it was extremely stressful. But you'll get through it! You're almost there, it's so exciting!

And I love the fact that your DF is being all creative! ;) Even if his soap comes out a little funky, at least he's tryin! :lmao:

Ha! I'm glad you bought the ornament. I love convincing you to buy stuff! (PS I bought myself the new Pandora star clip. Do you have it yet? Go get it; it's adorable. :lmao:)

Anyway... you are leaving in THREE weeks! That is SO soon!

Tell Chris to go get his ring! Geez louise! Men can be so picky about stuff sometimes, right?!

Sorry about the groomsman, but your new-new-groomsman sounds like a keeper. :thumbsup2

You'll be there soon! I can't wait. :D

We'll be there soon!! Good Luck with your to-do list!! I know we'll get everything done!!

We got this girls!!! :) Ahhhh we are so close!!! :grouphug:

3 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!! :scared1:

Hope your dress fitting goes well!! Bustles can be tricky!! I had mine last Saturday and I still need it tightened a little more!!

I hope your new new groomsmen works out well! Look at him already paying for his tux! He sounds like a keeper to me! :woohoo:

Tell Chris to check Overstock.com as well! Their prices are decent and their shipping is pretty fast!

Those groomsmen gifts sounds awesome!!! GJ Chris!! :thumbsup2 That KINDA makes up for the ring situation! :rotfl:

Sounds like everything is coming together!!! Can't wait!!!

Send me your schedule!! WE WILL MEET!!!!

I'm glad you've been researching! I really would like to be in one of the buildings closer to the marina, just for the atmosphere.
Yes, I guess I have to give him some brownie points for being creative!

I'm gonna be really bothered if people just don't show up. Uggh, that's just plain rude and tacky!

Being almost there is so scary, but exciting! :)

Yeah, I think the new groomsman is a keeper...well, he'll be a goner if he leaves, let's just put it that way! :lmao:

Oh my gosh, my 2nd fitting went really well! I loved how all the alterations turned out, but I feel so bad for my girls! I had two girls with me, but they will need a third the day of just to get my bustle together! There are apparently 2 parts, so they were digging for 9 connectors on the bottom and 12 on the top layer! It took them about 30 minutes! Good news is, I got to see it with my jewelry and veil and the sales ladies went nuts! They kept saying I was their Snow White Disney Bride :bride: I'm so excited now!

I will send you my schedule on facebook!!!!!

My internal organs flip-flop all the time lately when it comes to anything wedding related - even just reading your list! I'm getting so excited, but so nervous as well. Remind me, when do you two leave Disney to head home? November 18th?

Danielle sweetie - Just catching up!! I adore those ornaments. What a gorgeous idea!! Sorry about all the trouble with groomsmen - glad it's resolved now!!
So close now sweetie!!

Aww, I'm sorry my list did that to you! But it will all be over soon enough!
We are actually only in Disney from November 8th - November 14th...Not long enough! :rotfl:

And then the DO NOT PLAY list…I only put "Cotton Eyed Joe" :snooty: Hahah, Can't stand it!!!

Sorry if this is TMI, but I found these and am contemplating wearing them under my dress...? Is it really weird to wear colored undergarments? My dress is so thick I don't think you would be able to see anything...:

Tshirt for Drinking Around the World...This is how it really looks right now! I still have to finish them, but I thought I'd show you the color!:

So, I still need to pack an outfit for our Hollywood Studios park day, something for our welcome party, and something Christmas-y for MVMCP!

What should I pack bottom-wise? Should I pack jeans / capris? Do people wear shorts even though it will be November? I know the weather can be fickle, but I also don't wanna look out of place... :confused3

I love your music selections! I think everything will flow really well. And we did end up having the Cotton Eye Joe at my wedding - the DJ actually came up to me and said it had been requested, but he wanted my permission to play it since some people don't care for it. I can understand the feeling, I wasn't crazy about the idea at first! But we ended up having a lot of fun. The only reason I regret doing it is that my legs were actually sore walking around Disney the next day!! :lmao:

Your outfit selections are so cute! I might bring capris and jeans just to be sure - you won't really know til you get there, I guess. Plus I'm always cold (at least, I get cold more easily than the average person), so it would make sense for me.
