Sometimes people cancel or change their resort/dates. It' always possible that something can show up in inventory. You'll be more successful if you don't limit yourself to one resort or if you can be flexible with your dates.

Keep checking. When I was looking to book the free dining I noticed that rooms opened up all the time. I was able to add an extra day on by checking daily.

I would try calling. Those CMs always seem to be able to work magic or can come up with a similar plan for you.

Yes, keep checking. I booked a room at POR for our family of 5 the first day SPD was released right at 7 am. In our price range, there was a family suite at AS Music, every category at CBR, and preferred at POR. We snagged the room at POR...a couple hours later when I checked back, there was NO availability at POR. I have been checking availabilty at least twice a day, and for a couple days the preferred room and river view were available at POR, now it is back to nothing available. CBR is down to only preferred rooms available and AS Music is still holding strong with availability.

I keep checking our dates for POR to see if a standard or garden view pops up...as I wouldn't mind saving a couple hundred on our reservation. We are going at the end of January as well. Have you considered 2 rooms at a Value? That was another possibility we were considering well, but I have yet to see ANY availability for POP for our dates under the SPD. I am still holding out hope that more rooms will be released under the discount, but only time will tell. Good luck!
