Dang! Another early dismissal!!!

ALL_read A -L-L other school systems in this county are closed but WE stayed open, took a risk on the icy, snowy, dangerous roads and got our students to school late....only to have the superintendent send us back out on the roads early to take the kids home because the roads are a mess. I wish she would get a clue. Same woman is negotiating our contract....

She's a piece of work.

Uggg...that really stinks. We never have problems like that.....our system cancells if they are predicting rain on a cold morning....love NC. Did you at least stay in school long enough for it to be considered a full instructional day? Not excusing...just looking for a bright side Here we would have to make up days cancelled for weather but if we release early they usually can count it as a whole day.

Right there with you shortbun. Thank goodness this is the last year we have to deal with this idiotic school system. Just have to make it through senior prom at the Greek Orthodox Church at $40 per person and the Saturday night, 8:30pm, limit 10 people, graduation ceremony at the Ohio Theater.

At least they sent them home early. Ours doesn't bother. We are always the only school system open. Now I just keep my kids home at my descretion.
