One of the best suggestions I saw was to bring a power strip along - it only takes up one plug in the hotel (or condo!) and you can plug in all your cell phones, camera chargers and what not in one place. LOVE IT.

Hi! I recently found your PTR and got hooked...you and your family are too cute! On your packing list you have ginger capsules for vertigo, I've never heard of that before. I have problems with positional vertigo from time to time and the flights to Disney often aggrivate it...I'm wondering if those would help? Your final hotel choice was a good one, you will love the Wilderness Lodge!

As far as the ginger capsules go, I would absolutly recommend trying them for your flights....they are all natural and seem to help me when I get to feeling dizzy- witch then leads to nausea.
Have you stayed at Wl before? I am a little nervous about staying in a standard view room- do you think I should upgrade to courtyard??

Okay so we at our 17 day mark and I need to start thinking of those last minute things to pack....share your ideas...what do you take??
Heres a few things I have so far:

can of lysol: (for beds and remotes etc)
advil liquid gels: for those Loooong park days
ginger capsules: for vertigo, and nausea
moleskin: for blisters
bandaids
cameras and chargers
video camera and charger
cell phones and chargers
ponchos
umbrellas
misting fan
sunblock

I will add to this list and print it off a couple days before we leave!
Were sooo close!

Hand sanitizer (the tiny one to carry into the park with you). We also bring any bacterial wipes and wipe down the entire room. (Once the Lysol spray has dried... ) Extra cards for your camera & a disposable water proof camera for cool pics on the water rides and in the swimming pool! And some drinks and water since you have a fridge in the room. Why not?

You can order all the Disney Store stuff online can't ya? If not locate them and get some on the way down to FL. They have a really cute Toy Story one!!!

I LOVE Flipping Out. This season was better, IMHO, I guess because they seemed to show more of Jeff's dark sense of humor. LOVED it.

Tori and Dean, I just caught Pam Anderson's show which was a trip, but entertaining... I was watching the Lohan's and Denise Richards but most of the time it was like watching a train wreck that you couldn't take your eyes off of!

Yes, I've stayed at WL 3 times & I love it! I don't know what the standard views are like, each time we went we booked standard but were upgraded (twice to courtyard and once to woods). But I wouldn't worry about booking the courtyard, even if you don't get upgraded you are still at WL which is one of the best themed hotels in Disney. Even if you don't have the best view off your balcony you will still like your room and will LOVE relaxing in the lobby and wandering the grounds! Thinking of your trip to WL is getting me excited for my December trip to the WL Villas!!

Yeah I think we will stick with the standard room- Im sure I could spend that money elsewhere. Who knows maybe we will get a upgrade.
We are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited to be staying at WL- this is our first deluxe! It looks so relaxing and inviting! I can hardly wait!

Oh I like million dollar listing too! Thats a good one- the one guy looks like he 15 years old! he is actually 30! I would have NEVER guessed that!!!!

okay so this isnt eactly Disney PTR material but had to share anyway. (well I guess it kinds is cause they may use this stuff in disney aswell)

Sooo, I went with my sister to the mall yesterday (last night), I told her I have to run into the GAP to see what they have on clearence for the kids (I have not bought ONE piece of school clothes for them yet and it starts on TUES)!!!!!!! So anyway...The cashier told me a little secret about the clearence stuff- If it ends on .97 then she can most likely give me another price reduction on it! WOOOOOT! I had no idea! So I went crazy- lucliky for may bank accounts sake they didnt have tooo much for me to buy.
Here is what I got........everything was 3 and 4 bucks - except for the jeans, they were buy one get one at half off!

Heath only got 3 things, his section was really picked over

Oh and I grabbed these at sears for 12 dollars total!!

Well Its a start to school clothes shopping anyway....I still have a long way to go on Heath but Ill prolly do that this weened.
I thought I found some bargins! I was a happy camper!

WELCOME- so glad you are enjoying the PTR! It has been a little um, shall I say bumpy, BUT we are almost there now!! I thought at one point we were not going t9o be able to go-- but it all worked out in the end!

I am sooo very excited to stay at the Wilderness lodge! I think I will want atleast a day or 2 JUST to spend THERE! LOL

At rope drop have Dane head to EE to get FP’s.
Meet in Dinoland, while waiting for Dane to arrive ride Triceritop Spin.
Ride Dinosaur together in Standby line together when Dane arrives.
See Tough to be a Bug.
FP the safari and head to EE to ride using FP’s.
Ride Kali in standby line.
Grab lunch
After lunch ride the Safari using FP’s.
Enjoy Jungle Trek.
Be in line for 3:00 Lion King Show.
Enjoy Lion King Show, head to get a spot for the parade.
Enjoy the Jammin’ Jungle Parade at 4pm.
After the parade head back to WL for dinner reservation.
After dinner at WL enjoy the pool for WL. see The electric water pageant.

Good plan! Are you all packed yet? Whispering Canyon is yummy. We ate there in '06 and our waiter had just moved fto FL from here. He was wonderful. Maybe you guys will get him. I had the pasta with chicken. It was a little spicy but so good! Sid had the skillet. My gosh that's a lot of food! When ya check in up front they have this big table full of Lincoln Logs. The boys will probably like that. My kids did! Your first day at CBR is August 30th right?
