I reallly wasn't thrilled with Jerry Rice's performance, but I do LOVE George! Hopefully Rice will go tonight. Of course, DREW is my Favorite and I like Lisa as she is really getting good now. Stacy has an advantage, as her prior training and LONG legs! I loved the end with the Waltz and what Lisa did, that took guts!

It was VERY good, but it just wasn't as great as the judges said...
kind of makes me wonder if it is pre-destined that she will win. It seems like they feel she can do no wrong.

Stacy is beautiful to watch but she's had too much prior dance training for me to consider her winning fair.

I love Lisa Rinna but last night's dance confused me. It's seemed really disjointed to me but the judges loved it so obviously I know nothing about ballroom dance. I'd love her to win if for nothing else based on her drive and enthusiasm.

George Hamilton can be entertaining but he's cheesy and kind of stiff. Time for him to go.

Jerry Rice is great but his time is almost up too. He's just never gotten as far as Lisa and Drew have.

Drew Lachey is the real winner in my book. The boy can dance! Granted, being in a boy band he did a lot of dancing but it wasn't ballet, jazz, tap, etc like Stacy.

My votes have been going to Lisa Rinna until she's dumped and then they'll go to Drew. I don't think he'll win though. I think Stacy's fate was already sealed when she signed up. Before the show even aired I read that she was the early on favorite to win.

I see a lot of people like George and the judges score him well so what am I not seeing. I think he's nearly as bad as Master P. He hardly moves and when he does it is awkward. I don't 'get' him at all.

Drew is my favorite. I agree that Stacy is really great but she's had to much training and has worked as a professional dancer (for WCW Nitro). While it isn't ballroom, the foundation is there. Drew danced but he doesn't have the same training foundation.

I've been quite impressed with Lisa.

Jerry - eh he's better that George and is trying but he looks awkward to me too.

As for last nights dances....

I did think Stacey's legs looked too 'daddy long legs' during her Jive. She does better in the latin dances and with the more 'romantic' dances like the waltz and the foxtrot. She was good but the legs looked odd to me.

Drew is great. I thought his Paso Doble was better than this weeks tango. I really love both dances and I thought the tango could have been crisper. I still voted for him though, lol

I really like Lisa but her quickstep last night seemed flat to me BUT I'm not sure that was all her fault. I thought the music choice was horrible and I know the dancers have no say in music.

IMO neither Jerry's paso doble or George's rumba was all that great. Awkward is my word of the day and that's what I thought both were.

The thing about last night was that Jerry at least tried the new stuff and went out of his element. George is just depending on his "entertainer" skills and not actually doing the dances. He's funny and all, but he just can't keep up, IMO.

I think the deal with George is that he's 66 and doing awfully well for a man that age with absolutely no dance background.

A lot of people seem to think that it isn't fair for Stacy to be in there due to her prior training. Actually, Drew has a lot of dance background too. The others have had no dance experience that I'm aware of and that's probably why they look akward at times. They're learning quickly and presumably doing the best they can with Lisa Rinna really doing well.

If Drew and Stacy have so much training then maybe Lisa should win since she's the most improved?

While Stacy is good I would actually like to see Lisa and Drew in the finals because of Stacy's previous experience etc. I guess I'm just mean.

George needs to go this week and Jerry next week.

George broke a couple of ribs before the show stared, so that's why he's so stiff. I thought he had great hip movement in the practice video, but then he was wearing a jacket in the actual competition that covered his hips.

I think Jerry has been doing great - for a football player. Maybe if he had some of the posture lessons Lisa had, he'd be better. But he's working hard and has really been improving.

We haven't been voting - we end up seeing it on Tivo usually. It's really been very entertaining. We are just enjoying watching the celebrities perform.

Great show last night! I was able to get in my five votes for Drew - whew!

I actually thought Stacy looked better with the little jacket dress thing. I agree with cheerbop about her training, and the commentary. Enough already - we *know* she has really long legs.

I thought Jerry did really well. He is really putting forth a lot of effort. Heck, I think they are all working hard at this point. I really hope it comes down to Drew and Stacy, with Drew as the winner.

I know Drew was a member of a boy band called 98 Degrees but they were no Backstreet Boys or N Sync. These guys just kind of bounced in place or walked around. I think that is Drew's wife in "My Everything". Yes - I just watched 10 videos. Since I really need to get a life, I won't make any comments on the videos.

I think it's time for Jerry Rice to go. I got nothing out of his performance last night. At least George was entertaining.

But if anyone should go, I still vote the singers. Ugh, they drive me crazy, they are just terrible.

I totally agree. I just discussed this with my DH last night....We have always heard that Soap fans are the Most Loyal Fans.......
whether she deserves it or not (she IS doing well...but not great) she may be there in the finals.

As far as Drew having "dance" background...there is nothing in Hip Hop dancing (remember Master P everyone?!?!), besides maybe having some rhythm, that comes close to Stacey's years of training...she is good, but it hasn't been THAT difficult for her as it has been for others.

I still think the "winner" has already been pre-determined. But, it still doesn't take away from my enjoyment of the show.

Soap Fans are rabid, lol. But I still think Kelly might have gotten a boost from her Playboy fans. But Kelly and Lisa have more in common than Soaps. They both started off rough and then showed dramatic improvement from a combo of good teaching/leadership and hard work. Kelly worked her butt of and so has Lisa... crazy lips or no, lol!

With some lighter lipsticks I notice you don't "see" them as much. I have not noticed them as bad as they were in the first show! I agree with Mickey's Sunshine, go LISA and DREW!

I am a huuuge DayTIme fan and i watch Soap Talk, but i am basing my voting on dancing. i LOVE the way Drew dances and he isn't the judge fave like Stacey is. If i hear about how sexy she is one more time! i get it, we all get it, let's just stick to talking about the dancing!!

Yep, it's Lea there!! She was a choreographer with 98 Degrees and toured/danced with them. Which brings me to my next point, lol....


98 Degrees shouldn't exactly make Drew an "experienced" dancer, trust me. My sister and I loved them, but they did a lot more bouncing and arm movements than they did actual dance moves...which is why they NEEDED the backup dancers to begin with!

I can't see a difference in George's dance from one week to the next. I swear the only thing that changes is his outfit. I can't see how Jerry is even with him again.

Something about Lisa gets on my last nerve. The whole "team Rinna" thing is annoying.

I love Stacy and Drew. I hope they make it to the final two.
