Eeps! That was a trainwreck. Didn't they even practice it at all? They were off beat, and then out of step so many times. At one point, I think they even gave up and started doing a jitterbug for a couple steps.

I like Dylan's freestyle. He really opened up emotionally. I feel like he always thought that was his brother's department and he couldn't/shouldn't go there. But, he's really emotionally opened up these last couple weeks.
I did not like Elaine's freestyle to A Chorus Line. It was too "concepty" to me. And I didn't think it worked. Too many starts & stops. There's wasn't much flow. Her wearing bobby socks made her legs look chunky. And the final dance was meh, to me. That said, I've seen A Chorus Line on Broadway countless times. So not seeing absolutely great Michael Bennett style choreography for this number is perhaps a little to close for me.
I was watching for that. At one point Witney looked at him and he nodded to her a few times. I think that was his signal that he was going to do the choreography as they originally planned it, not some abbreviated version because he wasn't feeling up to it.
