Dancing With the Stars - Fall 2018

Both kids are Disney Channel kids. Jason is on Ravin's Home and Arianna was on Stuck in the Middle as well as in the movie. Non Disney she was in Bad Moms Christmas too. At first I was wondering why they were the only 2 Jr. stars then the Disney connection hit me.

Some of the other Jr Kids showed up too, they did a group dance. Jason is pretty cute on the actual show, and Arianna is one of the more annoying ones.

Tom was right, the Gaston routine was great! Held my breath while they danced on the table, thank goodness they didn't do a fleckerl there!

Alexis' dance was so fast, and she did so well. I think she's perfect, but not believing the showmance hints. It just worked really well on Strictly Dancing, so guess they're trying it here. Brandon and Tinashe had more chemistry, to me, but they're gone.

John did great, Joe did (marginally) better, didn't like the contemporary or jazz much, Sharna was gorgeous, and Milo does not look great in spandex. Weird watching quick step with those costumes. During other's interviews I mean, not during his dance.

DeMarcus' number was cute, nothing outstanding. But what the heck was he doing, wondering around in the background? Sort of looked like he was playing Pokemon Go!

No thoughts on Mary Lou?

Just watched the show.
Ya'll have covered a lot of what I would have said about the dancing, but a couple of thoughts...
I hate it when the producers feel like they have to throw a romantic connection in our faces every season. I don't get that vibe from Alan & Alexis, but even if they are a "thing" I thought the judges comments playing on that were awkward and annoying.
And speaking of annoying; can the kids just go back to their own show now that Disney night is over? Although it looks like we might get them for the Halloween show too. I'm not a kid hater, I promise, but way too much kid cameo crap for me this week.
Some of the pros are so much better at choreographing to the strengths of their stars than others. I was a Derek fan specifically for that reason. Sadly I think there are a couple of current pros who just don't know how to bring out the best in their partners. I'm looking at you for one, Keo.

Yes, between keeping Joe on to advertise for Bachelor In Paradise, Ralph Breaks the Internet, and whatever else they are going to have him advertise next week, and the Junior kids constantly on the show, and inserting a showmance, this show has become one huge infomercial. :headache:

I think Mandy had said there is a new showrunner, since just before the way too quick, Athletes season. The showrunner is the executive producer who kind of decides the direction of the show as well as runs it. I don't like the stuff he's introduced, if the above are all his ideas.

 I was thinking of Keo right before you said him. :thumbsup2

I said I didn't like the contemporary (Mary Lou), or Jazz (Evanna) much. Threw them together, ha. The one I almost forgot was DeMarcus!

Team dances also?

One team would get stuck with Joe on their team if they do it next week. The team always has to dance down to the level of, or around the worst person. Hopefully he will finally be gone next week and they they can have the team dances.

And I just realized they are at 9 so it wouldn't be even teams. Too bad. I love the Halloween themed team dances.

They didn't eliminate someone this week.

They are going to have to do a couple double eliminations if they want to end the show when they usually do, Thanksgiving week.

Lots of us looking at Keo.:rotfl:I also think that Jenna has trouble making her partner look good. I get the impression it all about her looking good.

I also found the kids to be annoying especially the boy.

No Monster Mash :thumbsup2.

No thoughts on Mary Lou?

I LOVE Mary Lou. I'm not sure if she's the best dancer, but I love her heart. When she gets eliminated, I'll probably stop watching. And if she gets eliminated before "grocery Joe" (I liked him on the Bachelotte, but he's a terrible dancer), I'll be mad when I stop.
