Dancing With the Stars: Fall 2016

I've started watching just to see Terra dance. I've been watching her reality show(s) for a while now. I loved seeing her kids last night! I think it's great that she's doing so well, but I also think she has a decent amount of dance in her background.

I usually watch DWTS but I was very interested in seeing Terra this season to see her in a more real-life situation. I can't stand her on her Little Women LA and was hoping that seeing her on DWTS would make me like her more. I know most of LW-LA is scripted because none of those ladies would still be friends in real life with all that back-stabbing going on in every episode But unfortunately I'm not liking her much more after seeing her on DWTS. But I agree - I loved seeing her kids this week

Yeah, I know those shows are scripted. But this season seems more scripted than ever. I mostly watch because I like the babies, and I find the discussions about the issues related to their kids interesting (do they want a little baby versus an average, what sort of pregnancy risks they are willing to take, that sort of thing).

Yes - me too. It is the everyday life stuff that I find interesting. I usually fast forward though the screaming matches because I don't like when they start to get mean and nasty to one another.
I just watched this weeks episode where Sasha came over and she found out who her partner was. It was kind of funny given we have been watching them dance for a few weeks now

I just saw this. I hope the partner change doesn't tank James' chance. I wasn't impressed with Jenna earlier in the season. I hope Sharna is allowed to choreograph just like Derek did when he was injured.

If she isn't allowed, it will definitely seem that Derek is the "Favored One." Not only did he choreograph, he danced in one, making it a three-person dance.

What happened to the rumors her Dr. said she had to stay off her leg or 3-5 weeks? Just exaggerated drama?

I don't think it was done on purpose. She seems to get stiffer & more tense each week. She sounded so good on paper, having a Broadway dance history. Derek probably thought so too, when he signed on to come back. But, Marilu having all that tension & memory in which she is remembering the wrong things is working against her.

I wasn't paying attention. Laurie probably said something really sappy & sweet to him.

Ryan is a real amphibian. So graceful & powerful in the water, but learning to dance is like Kermit the frog having to learn to dance.

I liked Ryan's & Cheryl's dance, but then I typically like what you guys don't. I think I plan to give my votes this week to Calvin and still waiting for James who is also my fave. I cannot wait for Terra to leave. I always leave the room when they dance as I just can't watch.

Derek looked like he was done. He knows they aren't going to win and he's done. You could tell it from what he said in the clip after their scores from last week.

I cannot wait for Terra to leave. I always leave the room when they dance as I just can't watch.

To me, Terra it's like watching someone dance with a little kid. She's a bit more swayed back in the pelvis, but she seems to be able to do everything else a child of her height can do. That's why when someone said last week that Derek had a hard time figuring choreograph around her, like they couldn't do a lot of synchronized steps as her gait is much shorter, I thought he just had to adjust, as he would have if there was a child star in the dance.
