I guess there's no age minimum to be on DWTS? I wish they had selected Aly Reisman instead of LH. I think the dances and music selections will be limiting with a 16 yr old. Apparently, the judges love her tho. I hope it won't be like last season and they have their obvious favorite.

Well, I just started watching at 8:30.

Maureen & Artem: I loved that dance. I really liked the retro 40's flair to it and I liked that she danced with other pros to make 6 people. She deserved all 7's IMO.

They showed so little footwork by Ryan. Camera angles from behind the audience in way of his feet, camera shots from the waist up, and camera angles from far across the room. He must have been out of step a LOT with Cheryl, but they want to keep him on the show, so they pulled a "Ginger Zee" maneuver and with all the camera angles to hide what he wasn't able to do.

I hate Erin's dress, although I like her hair. Tom's tie is fine but not noteworthy.

Jana & Gleb: If her injury was that bad, why did Gleb have her do so many back bends? She looked in so much pain after the dance.

Rick & Emma - Calvin & Lindsay - I missed them. My satellite went out because of the rain.

Amber Rose & M-Maks: I don't watch Game of Thrones so I don't get the song back story. Maks looked weird. Amber Rose was stiff and she didn't dance with any passion. 6's were right.

Jake & Jenna: OMG Little Jake is so cute! Jenna has a smokin' hot body and she showcases herself and not her partner. Jake was just trying to keep up again. He was overscored. I thought Amber Rose was better.

Vanilla Ice & Witney: Dusty Rain and Keeley Breeze? Really? Ugh. The set and costumes were AWESOME! The dance, not so much. They were given the huge Frank Sinatra softball and he messed it up. Boring. Totally overscored!

Terra & Sasha: Again, I loved the set and the costumes! I liked how they turned from b&w to color. I thought their dance was GREAT! Sasha did a tiny bit of dancing around her, but I loved it. "I was the Universal Dick ... Richard, Richard!" LOL. Mr Grumpy Pants underscored.

Jana and Gleb have that sex appeal going for them. Can you imagine them doing the same dance that Maks and Amber did?

I don't have any stand out favorites but I'm liking Babyface (is that his name?) and the race car driver.

Babyface & Allison: Super slow tango. His posture was off (he leaned forward too much), but I still liked it. It was scored correctly IMO.

Laurie & V-V-Val: Her knee was taped. The dance was so energetic! I loved it! Was V-V-Val supposed to be Scrooge McDuck? Ew.

James & Sharna: I LOVED it! It's so strange that race drivers are so good. "I'll need a new partner next week because she'll be a little stiff." LOL. He was underscored!

That bottom fringe on Jenna's outfit looks rather inappropriate.

I don't consider myself conservative when it comes to performances in theatre and tv, but her costume was very distracting to me! I honestly couldn't tell you how Jake even danced. I kept imagining how I would fix it, at the least more fringe around her hips, or even more Vegas-like with hi-cut leotard and ruffles in the back....

Marilu and Derek: Totally boring. The song was boring and the dance was totally boring.

Ryan & Cheryl: I liked how Derek ran off the other protesters and how the other stars rallied around him. The quickstep was fun, but not great. "Swimmer's back"? WTH? Fairly scored.

Impressed by James, Terra, Jana, Laurie, Babyface, and Marilu. Oh, and Calvin was much better this week. The rest will go home before this group. Jana may not be able to stick it out.

James makes me snort laugh. He's a quick one.

Laurie and James are my favorites. Also like Ryan and Jana. Calvin and Vanilla Ice are fun to watch.

I thought Derek and Marilu were overscored. Even though I am not a fan of Derek, I appreciate his choreography. This dance was forgettable and I thought at times she had forgotten the moves because he seemed to be pulling her.
