I taped it last night so I could watch Gilmore Girls and Big Brother. I can't wait to watch tonight!

I watched but didn't vote. I was a little disappointed in John Hurley though. Seems like sour grapes on his part. I hope Kelly wins again because she was such a good sport about it. Besides, all her GH fans are there to support her.

I voted for John. I thought Kelly had the bad attitude last night.

I think the whole thing is rigged and John will win this time. I voted for Kelly. I liked her choreography better.

I think the last two posts are so interesting. Shows different points of view.
I felt John was being a little bit of a pain and Kelly was being defensive. But it is all based on POV.

Dancing only though
Latin - Kelly - less mistakes and better footwork
Smooth - John - well smoother and better control - Kelly's quick step was slow for the genre, repetative and she had a couple of pauses.
Freestyle - although I agree with Len that Kelly's was another Cha Cha it was more complex than John's and better executed. However, one issue with John's was the dropped lift - was it supposed to be that way (acting)?

Anyway, I voted three times for the three dances. So two for Kelly and one for John.
One thing I would have like to have gotten the answer to last night though. Whose idea was this? There is so much misinformation out on the net about who said what and who started it.

I voted strickly for John...I hope he does win this time.

I've seen him in interviews...I think last night was more of an act then sour grapes....he says he hasn't had so much work thrown at him...he diffinately wasn't a loser in the Dancing with the Stars..

Here are my opinions from the GH thread w/some more stuff added.

I thought Kelly did well last night. John really wants to win but I found him so annoying. Get over it already, really how much whining are you going to do? Act or not it got old and sounded like sour grapes.

I think Charlotte made the dances look good but very easy for John. I know the male role is supposed to be the more difficult one but Kelly sure looked like she was working harder.

I liked Kelly's 1st dance best and thought John's second one was technically very good but boring and I didn't like either of the Freestyles from a dance perspective. John's routine was cute but way more acting than dancing.

I didn't vote because I watched it on TiVo after the voting period was over.
I would have given 2 votes to Kelly and 1 to John.

I've met John O'Hurley several times and he is a really nice guy but I'm so sick of him talking about how he should have won. He was good but there were performances from season 1 where they did stumble while Kelly did consistantly improve.

I think John will win so hopefully that will shut him up. I don't think Kelly cares much either way, she still gets her check and her career has really skyrocketed and with her guest role on DH it's only going to get hotter.

Okay, I stayed out of it with my opinion so far... but here goes:

While I LOVE this show, it is not fair. I know, I know...LIFE isn't fair, but this show is a competition and it is comparing apples to oranges.

It is unfair to have males and females competing because it is much HARDER for the male to lead, than it is for the female to follow.

It is unfair to have the judging system based upon call in votes. Let's face it, this is NOT American Idol with its unknown singers. Many people may (or may not) know John from his work on Seinfeld. Many many more people may (or may not) know Kelly from her work on General Hospital.

That said, Kelly has a HUGE fan base (just because her show is on daily as opposed to John's show which is not on anymore). Also, realistically, the fan base who will do the MAJORITY of the calling will be young. I laughed when John lost originally(even though I thought he should have won) because I think it is because middle aged (39) people like me and my husband and even older people like my parents are not the type to bother to call in even though we have a definate opinion. This has the ability to become just a popularity contest (who has more fans).

That said, I am still enjoying this show very much. Apparently part of the reason for the dance off (according to one of our local radio programs) was because of allegations that Kelly won because she also worked for ABC (but I personally think that is ridiculous!)

Anyway, this are just MY opinions. I would love to hear yours!

I thought John was being a bit mean and i hope kelly wins it again i mean she won fair and square personally i think johns dancing sucked he was acting more than dancing and kelly was awesome i missed some parts i was switching from big brother to dancing with the stars i hope kelly won we voted for her

I only saw a portion of the show. I thought Kelly didn't feel the dance on the last program and was surprised when she won. The part I saw last night she was doing great and I thought John looked less comfortable.
