Anyone else notice how many t.v. commercials have dancing? A local restaurant chain, Samsung, the doofus in the Toyota commercials, and the latest (and worst) dancing with relief after taking an enema. Is that even safe?
Yes...lots of dancing. And lots of dogs. Dogs are in so many commercials that have nothing to do with dogs. So I guess people like to dance...and they love dogs.
I have always loved musicals, where people are constantly bursting into song and dance spontaneously, and so I don’t mind commercials that do the same. Would I personally sing and dance down the street waiving some kind of medical device? Probably not. But the idea of singing and dancing as I walk down the street isn’t so far fetched to me.
No, but I do absolutely despise perfume / aftershave and coffee commercials with celebrities. The instruction those people get looks like: "Here's a pretty outfit, all you have to do is look pretty".
Of my favourite singing/dancing commercials, this one is at the top:
i usually ignore or FF through commercials if I can, so I haven't seen any of the ones referenced in the OP. There is one Geico commercial I actually enjoy - the Tag Team/ice cream one - Scoop there it is!
The first one is all because of the music. The "I am 100%" ... nails on a chalkboard. I think it is because anytime I have live TV on in the background it comes on.

I like both the Old Navy commercials. The first one impresses me because they actually put their money where their mouth is and show all sorts of body types in an ad about carrying a wide range of clothing sizes.
The second one is just cute - but it also shows a lot of their kids' styles quickly, which I think makes for good use of their ad time as well.
